I was trying to connect

I also meet this problem, I use the portable mobile internet, when I try to rename it, it name became HT-AP0. Here are the content I learned from computer eginnering, you can try to reset your network( it should be a bottom you can press), or you can try to let the electrode shortcircuit, and erase the imformation. cause this phenomeon is because of hacking. Unfortunately my network's reset bottom is broken. So good luck to you! I am not a native speaker so forgive my word mistakes! THX!

DIR 625-reset name and password

Hi,

Since the router has reset itself, you can login it very easy. Go your web brower and in the space for the url address type 192.168.0.1 It will then bring up a screen for user name and password. The user name is admin and the password is left blank. Once you enter that information your logged in.

Good Luck

Mark

D-link 625: have lost disk

You do not need the disc. Using you browser, login into the router using the default IP 192.168.2.1 unless this has been changed and you should be able to configure your router.

Dlnik dir-615 all lights flash

If rebooting or a complete factory reset did not solve the issue, I believe your ROM or other electronics may be defective. I had a similar issue with a D-Link router several years ago, probably due to a power surge.

192.168.1.1 password

A password for the router login or a wireless password? For the router login the default is "admin" and no password. Go to your settings and find the Wireless section and the password should be there. For the password to the the router itself, you will have to perform a factory reset by locating a small hole on the back of the router, then using a pencil/pen of tip of a paperclip and inset it into the hole for about 10 seconds with the power on.

Cannot configure D-Link DIR 625 wireless router

Hey Raj - Unplug your modem and router. After 60 seconds plug your modem back in. When the lights return to normal (except the activity light) , plug your router back in. Give it 10 seconds and try it. If this solves your problem PLEASE rate this as fixed. If not, DO NOT RATE YET. Just add a comment letting me know what happened and I'll be happy to assist you further. Thanks.

Where is the access point on a pixma mg5422

Do you have a wireless router that has a 'WPS' button? If so, press that button on the router, and press the similar button on the PIXMA, and the two devices should connect.

Wps button

The front of your Actiontec modem has a button and light for Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS). If that button was pressed or the WPS process was started, that button may light up or blink.

D-Link DIR-625 - Unsecure connection

How do you know that you are connecting and there is no security? There first thing to check is the router settings. You should type into the browser 192.168.1.1 (or whatever you have configured your router's IP address for). Enter the user name and password for the router. On the next screen you will notice a link for wireless settings. Click this and on the new page check the bottom section that says "Wireless Security Mode". It should be set to something other than "none". Post back and let me know what it is set to.

Install on linux operating system

Sir A The router connects to the internet, so the settings for that should not be touched, and it does so regardless of any operating system your computer may be running. The adaptor connects the computer to the router and needs a suitable driver to work with Linux. Unfortunately, model numbers are not enough to determine which is the correct driver for your particular hardware, as manufacturers have a habit of changing the chips used inside a device without altering the model number. I was caught out with a D-Link USB adaptor like this. I bought one because it was supported by the Linux prism drivers, only to find that they had just switched to an unsupported chipset. There is a way out if it turns out that there's no Linux driver for your chip, but it's possible that there is a native solution. Your card is quite likely to be based on the Ralink RT73 chipset. OpenSUSE 10.3 includes a driver for this but does not install it by default. Go to the Software Management section of Yast and install rt2x00-kmp-default. Now plug in your network adaptor and go into the Hardware Information section of Yast. If your device is now listed in the Network Card section, you can go to the Network Card section and set it up. If it isn't listed, unplug the adaptor, open a terminal and run su tail -f /var/log/messages Plug in the adaptor and watch the output in the terminal. You should see some details whizz past (press Ctrl+C to stop the output). Run modprobe rt73usb and if you get no feedback, you have the right driver. Go into the Network Card section of Yast and set up your network connection. You may need to specify the driver module (rt73usb) for the device here. If all of the above fails, there is an option to use the Windows drivers for the adaptor, using a package called NdisWrapper. This emulates the Windows network driver interface, so that Windows drivers can be used in Linux, so install this with Yast. Dig out the driver CD that came with the device and locate the driver .inf file, then in the terminal window you should still have open, run ndiswrapper -i /path/to/driver.inf modprobe ndiswrapper The first command should install the driver where NdisWrapper can find it; the second loads the NdisWrapper module and should give no output if all is well. Now create the interface in Yast using the Add button, set the Device Type to Wireless and the Module Name to NdisWrapper, leaving everything else on the default settings, and follow the usual prompts to set it up. According to the manual, there is no external button on the router. The only way to use WPS is with a pin #. Manual. It appears that to use this feature you need to have access to the router, then get the pin off the router setup page.
