Replace lamp. Clean (vacuum thoroughly) cooling fans. Make sure they are vacuumed and turn easily. Lubricate them with a tiny drop of Z-Max on each bearing. If the problem is in the lamp power supply or main control board, replace them. Regards.

I have a wd-57731 The lamp light blinked orange. i replaced the lamp turned the tv on and the timer blinks green for one minute and then the lamp light blinks orange again. It won't turn on. Can you suggest anything?

You should be able to see if lamp itself is lit or not, if lamp does come on or has been replaced recently let me know, I have a idea or two but need more information if possible.

if you have change the power capacitor which are the major common problem, Power supply board just die.It can be dead at anytimes.Tries websites Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a refurbish power supply board for the replacement. Hope this will help out in solving the problem...

Your TV needs the modified temp sensor installed by Mits authorized service center. It's covered under extended warranty for 3 years after date of purchase. Repair takes about 20 minutes and not too expensive if you're out of warranty period. Part #299P313010A

go check the projection lamp replace the lamp if its not working.The lamp is place at back bottom of the unit there is an access door for the lamp..you can order the lamp replacement online..

If your looking at the back of the TV, in the lower right hand corner there is a panel with two phillips screws. Unscrew those screws and pull the old bulb out. Slide the new one in and replace the cover and screws.

My mitsu wd-y577 television has little white dots all across the screen and it gets worst everyday the dots cover 40% of the tv help

how long does it take to start. this set is normal to take 90 seconds. after its off awhile does it take awhile. when you first plug it up it takes 80 second to boot,. the light will flash in the bootup. when you shut this set off the set has to go through cool down before it will come back on

well at this point if you took a look at the color wheel and it is ok and have color problems then the problem will be coming from the DMD board
you need to replace the light engine

If there are any format buttons on the front of the TV make sure it doesn't appear to be stuck. Also there is a possibility that a button is sticking on the remote for your TV or cable box or satellite

tv is overheating.  possible that fan not working or temperature protection circuit faulty.  check fan for excessive dirt first.  could be as simple as cleaning the fan
