Movie stuck in player.

000000 indicates a self-check display; in the manual it is mentioned as a recovery process. However, if this is taking longer than expected, and the unit is still inoperative, there is no other option (assuming you tried the reset procedures mentioned in your manual) but to submit the unit to an authorised Panasonic service centre for a quote and a second opinion, since this is clearly not going to work properly, and there is a disc or tape still in it. (Make sure if you do decide to go ahead with the repair quote, that when they service the unit, they retrieve the disc/tape, and ensure that you get that back when you pick up the fixed unit, and pay whatever repair costs are necessary) The cause is probably within the power supply, such as an IC regulator short-circuit and/or microprocessor malfunction on the main board, preventing normal startup operation.

All you can do at this stage is take the unit to a repair centre, get a quote, and go from there (trapped DVDs and/or tapes should be retrieved and returned to you - the technician can get those out without damage - don't attempt it yourself unless you know how).

Be warned: a workshop repair on this model could be expensive, but it is up to you.

Everytime we try to use

Yes there is a simple way to fix this. I do not have a Panasonic manual in front of me right now but this is how to fix this problem on a different brand. If this does not solve the problem the answer should be within the first few pages of the manual:

Do this please. Turn off the power to the blu ray player if it is on. Press and hold down 1 and without letting it go press power along with it and hold them down together for more than 5 seconds.
If the power to the blu ray player turns on walk over to it and turn it off by pressing the power button located on it. If the power to it doesn't turn on then don't worry about that step.
Next point the remote control at the tv and press and hold down the display button for more than 10 seconds. Now press the power button on the remote control and the bluray player should turn on and off normally and you shouldn't get rc-1 anymore

Discs are not the problem.

No, the disks aren't dirty, the laser lens is. To properly clean the lens and the entire head you should dismantle the unit and directly access the head. There blow most of the dust away first using a fan then, especially on the laser head, using a can of compressed air. After that wipe everything in sight using a q-tip. Beware the lens is fragile , it can be easily scratched, use a good clean q-tip on it and rub it gently.

Finalizing dvd

Hello,
Unplug the device from the outlet and wait 15 seconds before plugging back in. This will reset the device and stop the process, but it will not complete the process so you will have another incomplete dvd. Once you plug the device back in, you should be able to open and remove the disc and all functions should be back to normal. Let me know if you need further assistance.

If you do not mind, please rate my help I would greatly appreciate it.Thanks

Fuzzy Picture

Are you using the component (RGB) outputs, and a Sony TV? I believe that there is something in the output of at least some Panny DVD recorders (over the RGB component path), which Sony TVs don't process properly.

[I am assuming that the recorded disc was not made using the DVD recorder]. It's most likely that the video portion of the file is encoded in a format that is not supported by the DVD recorder. The player only supports DivX, JPEG, and MP3 formats. So try transferring the file on the disc to a computer and encoding in a supported format. You can use free online services such as http://media-convert.com/ or http://www.zamzar.com/ to encode media files into different formats.

Panasonic hds700tds playing audio no videos

  1. Check the Input Source: Make sure you have selected the correct input source on your TV for the device you are using. Use the remote control to cycle through the input options until you find the one connected to your video source.
  2. Check Video Connections: Ensure that all video cables (such as HDMI, component, or composite cables) are securely connected between your TV and the device you are trying to watch content from. A loose or faulty cable connection could result in a loss of video signal.
  3. Restart the TV and Video Source: Try restarting both your TV and the device you are trying to watch content from. Power off both devices, wait a few moments, and then power them back on. This can sometimes resolve temporary glitches or issues with the video signal.
  4. Check for Software Updates: Make sure your TV's firmware is up-to-date. Sometimes software updates can resolve compatibility issues or bugs that may be affecting video playback. Check the settings menu on your TV for an option to update the firmware, or visit the manufacturer's website for instructions on how to do so.
  5. Reset Video Settings: If you've made any changes to your TV's video settings, such as resolution or picture mode, try resetting them to their default values. This can sometimes resolve issues with video playback.
  6. Try a Different Device: If possible, try connecting a different device (such as a DVD player or gaming console) to your TV to see if the issue persists. This can help determine whether the problem lies with the TV itself or with the original device you were using.
  7. Contact Panasonic Support: If none of the above steps resolve the issue, it's possible there may be a hardware problem with your TV. In this case, you may need to contact Panasonic customer support for further assistance or to schedule a repair.
  8. Hope this helps

I have a Panasonic 50-in flat screen TV a storm came by and knocked out my TV and my Yukon no breaker was off so did it come through the antenna please help

  1. Check the Power Cord: Ensure that the power cord is securely plugged into both the TV and the power outlet. Make sure there are no visible signs of damage to the power cord or the plug.
  2. Inspect the Power Outlet: Try plugging another electronic device (such as a lamp or a phone charger) into the same outlet to verify if it is functioning properly. If other devices work fine, then the issue is likely not with the power outlet.
  3. Check for Tripped Circuit Breakers: Check your circuit breaker or fuse box to see if a circuit breaker has been tripped or a fuse blown. If so, reset the circuit breaker or replace the fuse and try plugging in your TV again.
  4. Test with Different Power Source: If possible, try plugging your TV into a different power source altogether, such as a different room or building. This will help determine if the issue is specific to the power source you were previously using.
  5. Contact Panasonic Support: If none of the above steps resolve the issue and your TV still does not power on, it's likely that there is a hardware problem with the TV itself. In this case, you may need to contact Panasonic customer support for further assistance or to arrange for repairs. Be sure to provide them with details of the troubleshooting steps you've already taken.
Hope this helps
