hey ur radio is locked u have to send it in, they charge $40 to unlock it, there in NY, and a $10 shipping fee. You get the radio right back in a day they said. there # is 800-448-0944 its called united radio. Hey I also need some help. I just got the radio yesterday and when i plugged it said, check map disc. my Eclipse AVN5435 is lock is any body know the solution

where can i download it...

for avn 5435 on the left:press menu and cont ant the same time, while holding them down press menu on the right 5 times

a menu will appear and ask you for a code. you have to call 800-233-2216 and pay $25 for the code. you will have to explain where you bought your eclipse and or know the name of the original owner. if it doesnt match they will not give it to you

the avn 500 does not have a sub output. they have to create one at the shop-

Your local high end installation shops would have all that info on hand. Goodluck.

When the eclipse was installed the owner registered a disk for security reasons..... when power is disconnected the only way to resolve it is put the registered disk in!

my avn2205d eclipse dvd/cd/navigation just stopped playing.it only opens/closes and eject on the display and its all in japanse.please help me to sort it out i am sure it just the software to boot it all so.i will be greatfull.

I experience a similar thing, however I realized that I had the wrong CD Rom. Pls ensure that you have the correct cd for you locality, hope this helps.
