call pioneer and ask them to email you the manual they should be able to do so in pdf format :)

The unit will have one wire which is connected to the handbrake sensor switch. When it recieves a positive supply from the switch it allows your head unit to play dvd's.
Disconnect that wire from the E-brake switch, and give it a positive supply which is only on with ignition/accessory key position.
I have done this with my pioneer Avic X1, and it works fine, and doesn't affect the Navigation either.

There should be a button or switch somewhere on the new radio that allows you to go between AM and FM tuning.

The wires are backwards. Are you using an adapter or did you straight wire it?
The yellow wires is memory, the red wire is for power when the ignition is on.

You can get the most current up to date copied version on Ebay for about $15-20. Goodluck.

i had the same problem, make sure either your wires are properly grounded if you have the bypass, or make sure your E-break is fully engaged, that was the issue with mine...

what model jensen indash unit do you have & do you have the remote?

Sounds like a problem with the sound chip in the stereo. Disconnect the rca cables from the subs and check to see if the audio returns. If so. try using a different rca connection in the back. Also i think on them radio's if there is a built in sub drive you need to turn that off if you are using a amp to run the subs.

My solution is a bit primative but it will work. Beside grounding your brake wire you need to cut and build a switch on your gps antenna. When you flipped the switch off your gyro sensor does not know that you are in motion then it will allow you to watch video and when you want navigate just simply flip the gps antenna back on. Becareful and leave enough lenght between anteenna and connector and remember to insulate all spliced wires to prevent shortage. Let me know how it goes. Goodluck.

You have to roll back the firmware to 1.0.2 in order to get video its the only thing i have been able to find that works and i have been searching for a long time

Not sure if that works, but me us know if it does. Everything I have read suggests that it will not work. Apple has blocked any after market products from working like avic-d3. I think what you would also need with that is Apple TV. Let me know

You can reset your DVD recorder by:
Making sure that the recorder is on and that the disc tray is empty
Using the front panel controls, press and hold STOP and press STANDBY/ON.
The recorder will turn off and all settings will be re-set.

This is internal damage to the head unit from overheating. My N1 died from this and now my N3 has the same issues. N1 blew out the amps attached to it so keep it off until it's serviced !!!!!! N1 had bad cooling fans, N3 fan is working but unit is overheating. No more pioneer for me.
