BC370CRS squelch not working
Take the case apart and clean the Volume and Squelch with Electronic Contact Cleaner until the knobs move really easy. The Potentiometers should now be clean and the Scanner should work as it should now.
Date and time appears scanner doesn't scan
Hi June,Has the radio scanner been programmed with frequencies?If not, that is the answer to your query.All radio scanners need input to function as they should, no input, FREQUENCIES, no go.If you have the user manual handy, it will guide you through the steps required to program frequencies into your scanner.If you don't have the manual, then going to your local Radioshack store would be of benefit to obtain a copy.You will also need a hard copy of frequency listings for your location.these can be found by a simple google search.I hope this has been useful to you.Cheers,Peter
How to clear programming on bc370crs
To reset the scanner to factory defaults, turn off the scanner. Then, while holding down 2, 9, and HOLD, turn on the scanner. All scanner memory contents are erased.The above is from page 36 of

I have the BC370CRS SCANNER
Locking/Unlocking Banks
When you are scanning conventional banks, the scanner displays the digit corresponding to
all unlocked banks. To lock out a bank so that the scanner does not scan its channels, press
the letter that corresponds to the bank. The bank's letter disappears from the display.
To unlock locked-out banks, simply press that bank's letter again. The bank's letter
appears on the display and the scanner includes that bank when scanning.
Note: You cannot lock out all banks. One bank must be unlocked at all times.
Locking/Unlocking Channels
To lock out a channel so that the scanner does not stop on it while scanning, press L/O
when the scanner is stopped on that channel, or manually select the channel and press L/O.
To unlock the channel, manually select it and press L/O again.
Restoring All Locked Out Channels
You can restore all locked-out channels in a bank only when the bank is selected for scan.
Follow these steps to restore all locked-out channels in a bank.
1. If you de-selected the bank, press SCAN then press the bank's letter.
2. Press MANUAL.
3. Hold down L/O for about 2 seconds. The scanner beeps twice and unlocks all

Scanner goes through all input
hello this could be a number of things ,firstly check with external speaker and see does that solve the problem if so open the covering of the scanner at the bottom and check internal speaker make sure the wirering is intact also check the speaker jack at rear of scanner ,could be shorted out ,also turn squelch anti clockwise fully ,hope this helps you please let me know what the out come was cheers
