We had a power loss
Hi
Error
code F1 means that an error with the keypad has occurred. Usually it happens
due to loose ribbon cable on the keypad or the electronic control assembly
itself going bad. To resolve this issue first, disconnect the power to unit and
then gain access to the back of the clock assembly (Electronic Range
Control/ERC). Now unplug the touch pad ribbon connector from the ERC, it would
be a flat wire approx. 1 1/2" to 2" wide and make sure that the cable
is not broken and nothing is shorted on the keypad. After this is done insert
the cable back and then plug the unit back to check. If the error is still
there then the electronic control board should be replaced. Hope
this helps...please post back for further assistance.

I HAVE A AMANA SINGLE
when it burnt off it fell somewhere between the oven chamber and the back panel.once finding it,its just a matter of splicing a new wire terminal end and attaching it to the element. The problem lies in thats its a built in wall oven and may be needed to be removed from the cabinet to find and repair this wire. Depending how tight it fits into the cabinet it may not come out easily and even break the wood around the cabinet. which of course you could face in pulling it out to replace it with a new oven. ONe thing to keep in mind is that all wall ovens are slightly different in size and the replacement oven needs to be pretty close to the size of existing one or the cabinet will need to cut or filled in so their wont be a gap left when new one is smaller leaving a gap in cabinet up to 2 inches on either top or side walls

Gas oven will not lite
By "thing in bottom" Iam assuming your talking about the igniter. If you are and it is only glowing then it probably needs to be replaced. If you cant smell the gas either thats a worring sign in of itself. I would first replace the igniter and then go from there though. Let me know how it goes!!

How do I clean my
Hi....you can call me M. G. and just to ease your mind, I am an appliance Technician & have been pretty much all of my adult life. Have you tried a product called Cerama Bryte? It looks like calamine lotion only white in color. You have to follow the directions on the back of the bottle & you may have to do it more than once, but it is the best & i don't really recommend anything else. And you are gonna have to find yourself a nonabrasive scuff pad.... and that's gonna help cut that stuff off the glass. best part is that Cerama Bryte makes several products devoted to cook-top cleaning including special Cleaning Pads for glass tops. Windex is the worst thing to use. And as a last resort, I have 1 more method, but you should do just fine with this one. I've seen it remove some serious stuff!! You can re-post if this doesn't correct your issue and I'll explain my "Last Resort Method"to you. And once you get that thing clean (or as clean as it will come), as a suggestion you probably need to clean the cook-top only with a product designed to clean cook-tops and the same day the mess is made so those stains won't build on top of one another. Well, good luck and hope I've been of some help :-)

MY AMANA DROP IN OVEN
F1 code means a shorted keypad. Replace the membrane or control, depending how it's available

Oven only heats to 150 degrees after 30 minutes.
Hi, this indeed sounds like an Thermostat or Thermistor sensor problem? This is the only real thing that can cause this problem usually.
You need to either obtain a service manual and troubleshoot the issue yourself, or get a "Quote" from a professional.

The original problem was that bake on this unit
It does sound like the fault could be with the temperature sensor and I'm presuming you're not getting any error messages?.
If you could confirm the Model No. I'll look into it further.

Hello &
Welcome to FixYa
The problem
seem to be with the bake igniter that is bad and needs replacement. You can
test it for 2.8 to 3 ohms, if it will not read this then it needs replacement. Please
get back to me if you have any other questions.
