Where is the wps button on a N 1 Belkin route?
Using Wi-Fi Protected Setup
WPS uses WPA2 (described below) for encryption. It does not
provide additional security, but rather, standardizes the method for
securing your wireless network. You may use either the Push Button
Configuration (PBC) method or PIN method to allow a device access to your wireless network. Conceptually, the two methods work as follows:
PBC: Push and hold the WPS button located on the back of your
Router for three seconds. Then initiate the WPS procedure on the client device within two minutes. Refer to your client's documentation on this procedure. Pushing the PBC button will automatically enable WPS. The client has now been securely added to your wireless network.
PIN: The client device has a PIN number (either four or eight digits)
that is associated with WPS. Enable WPS through the GUI shown
below. Enter the client's PIN into the Router's internal registrar
(accessed through this GUI). The client will be automatically enrolled
into your wireless network within two minutes.

PC will not go wireless
If your PC is a desktop, not a laptop, probably it can be hooked to your modem/router only wired (using an Ethernet cable). If, for whatever reason(s), you want to connect it wirelessly, you have to buy a USB wireless adapter.

Why i do not have any sound on my phone
Prob with Router or Phone? (Takes time to try to understand/figure out your issue. Please explain Details.) Best answer I have so far is Your Cell-Phone Provider does NOT allow your Phone to do Internet calls over a WiFi connection thru the internet unless You pay for it. Didn't used to be that way, had the prob with T-Mobile myself. Was free for a bit, then T-Mobile started charging me or turned off the feature. SUCKED! Most likely, your Cell-Phone Provider because they want those minutes charged to your account. Sorry bout that. Thanks.

There is no Internet between the hours 8:00pm and 11:00pm
Wi-Fi routers usually have the ability for the user to restrict the hours of Internet access(most of the time used for unruly teenagers).Log into the router(the IP address might be 192.168.1.1,if not it is probably on the router somewhere). Then locate "admininstration" or something like that to look at the access time settings.

Hmm
Reset your router back to it's factory settings by holding the reset button for about 5 seconds. I have provided a list of the most popular router brands. If it does not work you may need to google what your specific model's default IP address/default username/default passwords are, for example search for "Encore ENHWI-2AN3 default IP address" The default login info can change, it can depend on where you obtained your router. If you purchased it yourself from a store then the standard defaults should work. If you obtained your router from your Internet Provider you may need to contact your service provider. It also may depend whether it's an old or new model router as well. And you may need to press and hold the reset button on your router several times before it actually clears. Make sure you have a wired connection then once you have accessed your router simply run the Setup Wizard. Set your SSID as something you'll remember like "Mavericks Network" and your Password can be something like your phone number for example 3109876543

I have lost the security
Hi!
If you don't remeber the wireless security code, maybe you still remeber the user and password to access the web management interface of the router.
Then you have to connect the laptop to the router by using a network cable. Open a browser window, type in the IP adress of your router and check the wireless setup section. There you can find / modify the wifi security code.
If you don't know the router's IP adress, then open on your computer a ms-dos prompt and type the command
ipconfig /all
it will display your current IP adress, subnet mask and GATEWAY. The gateway adress is the router's IP adress that must be typed into the browser.
If you don't remember the user and password for accessing the router's web interface, please refer to the router's user manual in order to reset it to factory default configuration, and then proceed as for the first installation of the router.
Hope it helped,
Bogdan

Play Wireless Router F7D4302v1
I'm trying
I've had this same issue with a different router and my Xbox 360. You're going to want to find the "DMZ" section of your router and put your console/pc's IP address in that section.
I believe you can do it by logging into your router, selecting "Advanced Setup",then going to "Firewall", then "DMZ". To find your console/pc's IP address, look for a list of all the devices on your network. There should be a "Summary" page or something similar within your router. Take that IP address and put it in the DMZ field.
The idea is to put your console/pc in a special place in the router [the "Gaming DMZ (de-militarized zone)] that it doesn't receive interference, but your router needs to know what device to do that to.
Let me know if you have any further questions!

When i turn the belkin
Thank you for using FixYa
Red or amber lights tells you that something is wrong with the modem, but it could be just the configuration. Be sure you have an internet signal on the line coming into the modem and that the connections are all plugged into the modem/router correctly. Most probable, is that you need to enter the user name and password. Here is a link for the manual for your modem, so you can download it and see for yourself. There are procedures that we need to go through with you at the computer but the first thing is establishing the internet signal. Your Internet provider and help you and send tests to the router from their central office. The phone line could be a problem, the internet signal could be bad and last but not least is the router. We can only see one question at a time that you post, so I suggest you contact your ISP.
