Hello,
Your power supply board is dead, u know basic electronics' and soldering? Most of the times, the power supply board just have dead leakages gases capacitors. These capacitors always bulges up on it top,or puff up on it top.Replaced these gases leakages capacitors will get your TV power stable, and work again.Or tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a whole refurbish power supply board for the replacement.
I hope that all this will help, but if otherwise, Problem is in either power supply or the Y-Sustain board.
The Y-Sustain is a relatively large board out of which go connections to the side of the display; it's therefore closer to either the left or the right side of the display, has at least one rather large heat sink on it and fat power cables connecting it to the main power supply.
Often there are fuses on that board - one or more. Check those.
if they are blown you can try to replace them, but expect them to blow again - usually the whole board needs to be replaced.
I hope this will help to solve the problem...
It the cable box or the incomming broadcasting coaxial pay cable connection.U try a antena getting a free DTV air broadcasting signal ur got red wright? So it not the tv.
The would be the lamp or lamp door or simply the ballast, I would have this checked by a qualified Technician if you do not know how to repair this problem. Indeed its a lamp signal warning light so please do look into that direction.
The problem is that your lamp has expired, You need to either get in touch with the brands authorised repair agent and they can order and replace lamp( at a cost) or you can replace the lamp yourself. Also make sure you know how to rest the lamp use hours after replacing the lamp. Good luck.
This is a known issue with this TV. The following might resolve it:
Check Mute and Volume:
Ensure that the TV is not muted and that the volume is set appropriately. Sometimes accidental button presses can lead to muted sound or low volume.
Inspect External Speakers:
If you're using external speakers, verify their connections. Loose cables or faulty speakers can cause sound issues.
Test Different Inputs:
Connect a non-HDMI device (such as a DVD player) to the TV. Observe if the sound distortion occurs. If it doesn't, the problem might be related to the HDMI signal from your Virgin box.
HDMI Troubleshooting:
If the issue persists with the DVD player over HDMI, consider the following:
HDMI Cable: Check the HDMI cable for damage or loose connections.
Virgin Signal: Contact Virgin to inspect the signal/lines and replace the box if necessary.
Mainboard Replacement (if needed):
If the sound distortion persists, it could be due to a faulty sound processor chip on the TV's mainboard. In this case, consider replacing the mainboard.
