The wifi connection is really

Your Wifi connection may have nothing to do with the 'performance' problem you are experiencing:
You can try to isolate the issue by plugging your Laptop/PC directly via a cable to your router and re-run the youtube video to compare it against when you are connected via Wifi.
I suspect that like most of use using ADSL that your 'effective' connection speed may be 'variable' (especially during heavy off-peak/free quota periods) and the guilty party.
To investigate the issue, run a performance test such as:

www.speedtest.net

The results might reveal performance issues (compare your results on good periods and bad periods as well as 'typical' for your ISP).

Rebooting to 'recycle' your modem/router might also help.

Hope it helps and good luck.

Reset password of DGS3627 from

Reset your router back to it's factory settings by holding the reset button for about 5 seconds. I have provided a list of the most popular router brands. If it does not work you may need to google what your specific model's default IP address/default username/default passwords are, for example search for "Encore ENHWI-2AN3 default IP address" The default login info can change, it can depend on where you obtained your router. If you purchased it yourself from a store then the standard defaults should work. If you obtained your router from your Internet Provider you may need to contact your service provider. It also may depend whether it's an old or new model router as well. And you may need to press and hold the reset button on your router several times before it actually clears. Make sure you have a wired connection then once you have accessed your router simply run the Setup Wizard. Set your SSID as something you'll remember like "Mavericks Network" and your Password can be something like your phone number for example 3109876543

Hi, am haveing dlink dsl 2640u

You may need to have your computer checked as well from a computer technician because its your computer that is always asking for the network key and not the router. Once you reset your router to default settings and make use of the routers default wireless configuration, it will always stay that way. There might be a possibility that the wireless card on your computer is the one that is having a problem because it always loses the saved wireless settings from your D-Link Modem Router.

How do i find the

Hi

The network key is sometimes on a label on the underside of the device or printed in a prominent place in the Installation Manual.

If you can't find it, (if not already done) register the device online with D-Link, then e-mail your local D-Link support center the Model and Serial number and time and place of purchase of the device and they will e-mail you the WEP key.

Start here and route through to your local support center.

I hope this helps.

I can"t access wireless after

  • You can download it here
  • Decompress the zip file on your desktop, and then go to the folder:
    • C:\Documents and Settings\F\Bureau\2007112100265\TL-WN321G_071102\Win98_ME_2K_XP_X64\Driver Files\WINXP

  • You may be required to indicate the path for the rt73.sys file.

Contact your ISP immediately- the issue you have is called no sync. Basically with the DSL led going completely off- that would point to a bad modem, however the fact that you have no sync otherwise indicates your DSL provider may need to service your DSL line. Hi the light is flshin

A red light indicates that the router does not have an IP address or authentication has failed. PPP authentication settings (username/password) settings are ISP dependant. For information regarding proper configuration, contact your ISP.

Hi, ADSL2+Wireless Modem Router was set

Because you need to match the security setting on the wireless router to sign on to the wireless portion of the modem. If you flip it over, you should see a sticker with WEP on it- write that down, view available wireless networks, and enter in the key from the sticker when prompted- at that point you should be able to use the wireless portion of the modem I’m happy to help further over the phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/susan_42b401e0b1603d8a

My d'link dsl 2640u keeps

Does your PC work on other networks reliably? If so- it's likely the DLink failing. The firmware issue is just a symptom as well. I'd recommend either seeing if you could use your DSL provider's original modem (if this was a replacement) or if you have another router- if it doesn't drop at that point, it was definitely the router/modem. However, if it drops still, you may have a line issue- but I severely doubt this since the symptoms are pointing to the DLink.
