Color is not bright and looks green

This can be caused by an incorrect signal feeding your LCD. Normally, the green channel can carry the synchronizing signal along with the green part of the picture, but if it does not terminate properly it will make the whole picture green. The Syncmasters usually have Composite, RGB/Yr-y b-y, VGA and RF inputs. It could also be that the LCD is in RGB mode and you are feeding it Yr-y b-y. (or vice- versus). Make sure, if your using the component input, (RGB) that the source matches the LCD setting. RGB to RGB and Yr-y b-y to Yr-y b-y.

Check the monitor on another computer, and if its the same, then your monitor has a hardware problem.

Generally monitors do not actually have many options to adjust color balance. But you can adjust the colors through your operating system: Windows 7/Vista can be adjusted by following the instructions Here.

Have you tested the screen on another computer? What you are describing does not sound like a monitor problem, rather a problem with your video card driver.
Try booting into safe-mode by pressing F8 during startup, and selecting "Safemode with Networking".
