In order to set-up a wireless IP security camera to broadcast on the internet, instructions ask to set-up my router(2wire 2701hg-t) to perform port forwarding. How do I do this?

Since I installed this 2wire, everything is working fine but I cant access Ebay or MSN, after awhile I get a screen saying no conection, but it is.
Is there some sort of time out on this thing and if so how do i ajust it,
All other sites work fine.

Log on to the routers interface and look for MTU size. Once you get there, reduce it to 1492. This will help.

i am trying to forward a port but I cant access my router I tried typing in the i p address but to no avail . i am trying to open the port for utorrent because my download speed is so damn slow with out the port forwarded.

The modem randomly switches off my ethernet and the wireless light turns on. Then, after 30 seconds or so, it switches back. Meanwhile, all my connections drop on the ethernet side. What's up? I'd like to be able to keep all connections active, I have no idea what is going on with it. I've upped the power to 10 and the channel to 10 and it continues to happen. THoughts?
Have you verified the unit is secured. It sounds like someone is hijacking the unit and resetting the configuration.
Please post the configuration here and I will tell you what is going on. DO NOT SEND ME YOU USERNAME OR PASSWORD, as well as any DMZ information you may have setup.

Cant get into Firewall
Make sure your computer is hardwired to the 2wire.
Open Internet Explorer
Type http://192.168.1.1
Username and Password = admin
Go to Advance wireless and look for wireless security
You can simply disable it or change the key.
Save or Apply.

MY 1Wire2701HG-B power light is red the only othe rlight on is the wireless. The power supply is good. Any ideas???
A sony psp power supply has the same specs and is a lot cheaper than R/Shack Got mine on E-Bay for under 4.00!!!!!!!!!!!! with FREE shippiong

I have an ATT 2wire modem. Worked perfectly for over 1 year. Now, red light on the power button and green light on the wireless button - no other buttons lit up. Tried re-booting computer, re-setting it 5 or more times. At 1st, green light flickered on the power light but now just solid red. Can't connect to the internet, my network does not show under "available networks". Please help!!Thank you,-David S.
