DLink WBR-2310 freezes up with all four of the LAN

If all lights are lit regardless of anything connected then you may have a hardware failure. Try a hard reset by putting a tip of a paperclip into the small reset hole while powered on for 10 seconds. See if that resets you router - if not then it is dead.

The final solution is a factory reset of your router. You can do a factory reset by logging into the router using you browser. Go to the settings and perform a factory reset If you forgot the router password, you ill have to do a factory reset by locating a small hold on the back of the router and insert the tip of of paper clip for about 10 seconds while the power is on. The router will be reset to out of box status and then you can set-up form scratch.

I have a wireless router wbr2310 and i dont have

You can download a manual or quick set-up guide from the D-Link web site support section. You can connect to the router using a LAN cable or to wireless dlink and use the IP address of 192.168.0.1 should allow you into the set-up menu. The default router login is ADMIN and password is blank. You should be able to set-up the router without a CD.

One easy trick is to change the default IP 192.168.0.1 to something else in addition to password protecting the login to the modem. Make sure you save the new IP address.

If you dont know your wpa network key try to reconfigure your wireless network again.

Access the configuration page of your router.
>Type on the address bar 192.168.0.1
>On login type Admin leave password blank. if you set up a password or the login page use that one.
>Once inside the Dlink Page
>Clik Setup and on the left side click wireless setting.
>If given the option to click on manaul wireless connection setup click on it.
>Once you have the wireles window
>try to change the network name to a new one and scroll down
>Under security choose WPA security (enhanced)
>Scroll down and under the Passphrase type in your new network password or security key and confirm it.
>Click on Save Settings
>If it asks you to reboot then reboot it, if not, its ok.
