1) Is the 24-pin ATX main power cable plugged in tightly to the motherboard? The Lock on the side of the power cable has to lock over the Tab on the motherboard connector, for the cable to be fully seated.
(To the Right of the Ram Memory slots)

2) Is the 4-pin ATX +12 Volt power cable plugged in, and seated well?
(Above the Processor socket { Socket AM2} and to the left)

(15-pin connector. The shorter 7-pin connector is for the Data cable)

Also ensure that the 7-pin Data cable is plugged into the back of the Harddrive, and seated well.
IF, the SATA harddrive has a provision for a SATA power cable, AND a 4-pin standard Peripheral power cable, ONLY USE the SATA power cable.
Using both power cables will burn out the SATA harddrive.
It may, or may not, happen all at once as soon as you attempt to turn the computer on, but will down the road}
4) Make sure the CPU fan power cable is plugged into the motherboard.
The motherboard connection is above the Ram Memory slots.
When installing a Power Supply it is Very easy to bump the Ram Memory module/s. ('Stick')
Advise removing all Ram Memory modules, and reinstalling them.
Even if they look to be fully seated.
This way you are assured that they are seated.
Always work on a table, and if you have a carpeted floor, refrain from swing your legs.
A bed, couch, or directly on a carpet floor is a Static 'magnet'.
Observe Anti-Static Precautions.
Anti-Static Precautions:
Your body carries Static electricity.
Static will fry out (Short Circuit) the hardware components inside a computer.
Computer on a table, computer unplugged from power, computer case open.
TOUCH the metal frame of the open computer case to relieve your body of Static, BEFORE working on your computer.
Should you leave your computer in the middle of working on it, upon your return be SURE to Touch the metal frame again.
