The glass on one burner is completly broken out.
I'd say that as long as you turn off the burners which have the crack and remove the knobs - you're ok, but don't blame me if something happens. Any appliance tech would tell you "No, it's not safe!" just for the liability reasons. Use common sense.
Hot water heater not getting 220v to bottom
provided the elements are good, the thermostats alternate sending power to the elements so the water heater will not draw too much power and trip the breaker. if you are concerned, replace both thermostats exactly as they are wired and that should fix the problem as long as the elements are good.
Oven not baking
1. Check that the bake/broil elements are ok. Do they glow red when cycled on?
2. Control board may have failed. We see this as a common failure. We repair control boards at www.fixyourboard.com
I have an Amana smooth top and tonight we cleaned
yes alot of times when you use the clean the door will latch then not unlock....these have micro switches that lock and unlock the door.....this is gonna be either one of the switches or the door latch assembly itself.
Amana Range, AER5515QAW
could be a bad bake element, bad temperature sensor, or control board problem
what does the oven readout display for temperature? if the readout agrees with the actual oven temperature ... it is probably the element
if the oven readout displays a much higher temperature it may be the temperature sensor (the probe in the oven cavity) or the control board
the temperature sensor can be tested by measuring its resistance with power off and unplugged from the control board, should be about 1100 ohms at 75F
If the sensor is good, then it is probably the control board ... in which case we can repair it for you at www.fixyourboard.com

I found the solution on a "solution" section right here! the range may be in the "lock" mode. Press the "clock" and the "bake and hold" buttons together for 3 seconds then release. You may have to repeat this if your display still says "lock".
I have an F0 code that came up on my display.
The F0 code means loss of safety signal, you must replace the adapter board.
You could try to unplug the unit for a few minutes and then plug it in as a short term fix, but if the code reappears, then replace the adapter board
Maytag oven overbakes or burns bottom of cookies, biscuits
Try this first, if the temperature is off contact me.
Put an oven thermometer at the
center of the oven and set the oven to 350 degrees F.
Check the temperature indicated
on the thermometer after 20 minutes. If it's not within 5 degrees of 350,
you'll need to adjust the oven's temperature control.
3 of the 4 burners are continously sparking while turned off.
on the knobs one of the switches are bad.. you would have to remove the metal panel that is over it. they usually come as a complete harness.. as for the 4th one that is not sparking you have a bad electrode.. (the thing that does the sparking..
Oven does not work
you have a bod oven control. but make sure you are getting 240v to oven..
HEATS OVEN VERY SLOWLY
Check that both elements are working, and that there is 240 VAC being supplied to the oven (one of the two breakers has not tripped, or one of the two fuses has not blown.).
