No audio device found

if your computer came with a motherboard disc the sound drivers could be on it

click start control panel administrative tools computer management device manager scroll to sound video and game controllers you might see a yellow question exclamation mark? ! or a red X Right click to reinstall drivers

click start control panel sounds and audio volume advanced speakers make sure you have selected the

(appropriate speakers) also audio you will find 3 drop down lists make sure you have the correct settings there

click start control panel sounds and audio devices select advanced there might be a tick in the mute box untick ithope it helps

I need usb flash drive for Xp SP2

if you are referring to a usb driverclick start control panel administrative tools computer management device manager scroll down universal serial bus controllers you could see a yellow question / exclamation mark? ! or a red X

you will need to update/reinstall drivers

right click to reinstall drivers

if you can see your usb drive but its not working

ports (com&lpt) right click update driver if this fails to fix the problem

check the USB leads that attach to the motherboard usually red white green black make sure they are securely seated and have no dust build up on them dust will cause static and a lot of unforeseen problems to a computer and its parts if you need more help with this or if i have missed the problem post a reply hope it helps

Write protected usb

download puppy linux, burn it to cd, plug usb, boot cd, open gparted, select usb, format usb. done

if u need the files in the usb, u can mount your hard drive and your usb, and copy the files...(use the first icon on the desktop)

How do i remove write protection

click start click to open on my computer you should see your usb drive E: right click select properties there will be an array of options

select the sharing tab option then advanced sharing make sure you have a tick in the share this folder box

then click permissions make sure you have all 3 boxes ticked full control changes and read in windows 7

click start control panel user accounts click on the administrators account if you have made one or you will have to create one in windows XP click start right click on my computer select openRight click the icon of your usb drive (It should be E:/ or something) Click Properties in the menu that comes up Click the Sharing tab Click permissions And finally, click Allow next to Full Control. hope this helps you

click start control panel administrative tools computer management disk management right click on your drive select properties click tools you should see click check now click start two boxes automatically fix files and scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors place then a tick in both boxes then select check now start you might tick one box then return after its finished the first repair then return and tick the second box you should not do anything while the chkdsk utility is in progress any input may damage this drive I found that you get best results by ticking one box then returning after it has finished then tick the other box if still no joy

Right click on usb drive select properties you will have an array of options

Select the hardware option then select your drive properties policies

restore defaults

In XP

Right click on your drive select properties then on customize restore Default in W 7

right click select properties there will be an array of options select the sharing tab option then advanced sharing make sure you have a tick in the share this folder box then click permissions

make sure all 3 boxes are ticked full control change and read in windows 7

I want to download urdrive of kingston

urDrive CAN be downloaded from the official Kingston website. They provide it because often people who have their USB drive lose the software when they format the drive. However, depending on the version and where you are trying to install it, you may see this error: "This drive is not authorized to run this software."

I have password protected KINGSTON

Click start click on computer to open you should your drives

C: usually your hard drive D: or E: your cd/dvd drives if you have 2 and your usb drive possibly E:or F:

Click on your usb drive right click in it select new folder option you can name it

Then put all files or data you want to password protect

Right click on the folder select properties then click sharing tab tick in make this folder private box

Another message might appear you do not have a password on this account click yes

User and password account will open for you to put in place a password

This might vary depending on your operating system in XP

Select properties then security tab at learn about access controls at the bottom of the box

Also another option to change permissions click edit

Then click deny then click apply in W7
