If you read through your HDTVs manual you will find that it only supports FAT32 ~ maybe also NTFS. I'd suggest you take it to a reliable computer store in your area and see what they can recover. If you have nothing on it you want to save, just replace it.

You will need a program such as Acronis True Image to change the 1000GB drive to a secondary drive if it is the boot drive.

Hard wire into your router, enter ip address and then user name and password or factory default. Change password security to none, save settings, cycle power on router. This will clear secutiy on router and now repeat the above steps and enable secutity and assign password.

Is the drive speed 7200 or 5400? MBPs don't like 5400 drives. Suggest getting a faster drive. i have same problem.
