I HAD A VISUAL LAND MP3 PLAYER. ONLY PLAYED FIRST 10 SECONDS OF SONG. IT IS SET TO INTRO. WHILE THE SONG IS PLAYING PUSH THE BUTTONS AND YOU WILL SEE THE OPTIONS COME UP. SONG HAS TO BE PLAYING. CHANGE FROM INTRO.

Audio, video and image files are copied/transferred to the MP3 player from a computer using the supplied USB cable that is connected to your computer.
Most MP3 players will support photo with these file formats, jpg, bmp and gif.
Check the specification of your MP3 player to determine thetype of video file format it uses. Most common video files that MP3 players use are, AVI andWMV, there may be others such as FLV, MOV and DivX. If your player cannot play a video then it is anincompatible video file format, then you need to convert that video file to aformat that your MP3 player uses. There should be a power switch on along the right side of it (see pictures here)

If it still doesn't turn on, then it probably needs to be charged.
Plug it in to the wall adapter it came with and leave that plugged into a wall socket overnight.
Then using the power switch should work.

The player must be on a intro mode.

Any mp3 palyer or mp4 player can support windowns xp now. Trust it. You should find out the real problem.

Replacing it is expensive. However the player is bound to have some sort of usb port on it. You can buy some usb headphones for about £15 and use those.

Do this procedure for "voice" mode to delete voice recordings:

Delete file (stop submenu) - Delete corresponding files and save files in Music mode, Voice mode or FM mode.
1. In stop interface (FM without stop interface)
2. Short press "MODE" to enter stop submenu
3. Click "NEXT" or "PREV" to choose "single" or "all" files
4. Short press "MODE" to enter the Delete interface
5. Click "NEXT" to change "no" into "yes"
6. Short press MODE to confirm the delete prompt
"Delete all" will delete all related files stored in the selected folder. For example, if in music mode "Delete all" will delete all the music files, while other recorded files (e.g. voice recordings or FM recordings) will not be deleted.
Likewise, if "Delete all" is used when in the "Replay" menu, this will delete all recorded files but leave music files intact.
FM is much simpler – "Delete" or "Delete all" will delete the station(s) saved before.

Double check p. 17 of the manual for a firmware upgrade, in case this message is caused by a db corruption, but the error may also be caused if your player is in the "lock" or "hold" position.

could not locate the CENTON specific driverclick start control panel administration tools computer management device manager scroll through all of your devices

if you see a yellow question or exclamation mark ? ! or a red X you will need to update the drivers for this device right click select update driver/reinstall driver

if you can see your usb device but its not working scroll to Ports(Com&Ltd) right click to update driver

if you computer came with a motherboard disk the drivers could be on it

or you might have to download them

rather doing a driver hunt which can take hours
