New sansa fuze/ screen blank, blue light on/ no cause

If you really don't want to send your files into any one. Then i'd say to format the device.

In order to format the device please use the windows media player to format it. Make sure the device should be MTP mode.

Trying to copy pictures from my dell laptop to the

This seems to be the problem of most of us these days and some of our readers who wanted to know the methods how they can remove the Write Protected error from their USB drives like Pen Drives and memory cards.

What is Write Protected error and why it happens?
In the Write Protected error, we can’t write or copy any data in our flash drives and even can’t format the drive.
There are many reasons that cause this problem, let’s see solutions of them.
Solutions:
• First of all try to locate a small switch (if any, that you may have not noticed) at some place on the drive or memory card reader. This is the prime reason for this error. If there is one, switch it to the other side to turn the protection off.
• Yes I know this problem is also occurring these days without this switch but not to worry. Just download this helpful software form here

http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/Hard-Disk-Utils/HDD-Low-Level-Format-Tool.shtml

and run it to execute a “low-level format” on the drive. This software is quite handy and may take few attempts to actually remove the error.
• The problem can also be caused by some virus activity so just get it scanned by some updated good anti virus which may solve your problem.
• BUT if none of the methods listed above solves your problem then your pen drive might have gone corrupted, so just get it replaced.
Hope any of the methods listed above solves your problem.
Update 1:
After the low level format, you may need to “Partition the drive“. Dont worry, partitioning a pen drive means allocating it its File System and Cluster Size that was lost after the Low Level Format.
For that:
  1. Run diskmgmt.msc in Run.
  2. In the disk management window, select the pen drive, right click on it and click on Format.
  3. Now choose the File System and Allocation Unit Size and do not check the boxes below.

Click OK and the drive will be reusable after this.
Update 2 (Better Solution):
Follow the steps in this post and just put the value 0 (zero) in step 5.
This will surely solve your problem now.
IF you like my solution then please

Want to remove data

Deleting Files,Pictures,Videos,Audio Books, etc. from MP3 Player
Hook up your mp3 player to your computer Go to your desktop and double left click on "My Computer" When it opens you will see listing that says "Devices with Removal Storage" your mp3 player should be listed there. Right click on your mp3 player, and a window will open, right click on "Open" and now your files/songs should be visible. Hold the left click down and drag it across all the files/songs that you do not want this will highlight the files/songs you do not want, release, right click and then click on "Delete" Now you mp3 player should be clear of the files/songs you do not want. Be careful and do not delete files needed to operate your MP3 player. Good Luck, I hope this helps Please rate me, Thank You

My sansa e280 won't allow me to add music. What

I used the sync tool from Windows Media Player and added the songs i wanted directly to the music folder. I recommend configurating the sync to manual so that only songs that are selected can go into your device. Oh, yeah... i formated the device first. This is just one way i found to be effective; there are other solutions. Hope this helps.

Hi, my computer won't recognize the Sansa Clip

I also had the Sansa Clip, to swicth to MSC setting, in sansa clip player, go to seting > USB mode > There's 3 option:
1. Auto detect
2. MSC
3. MTP

Select MSC, it would be normally detected in any computer, if not, try to format your player :)

I have a sansa mp3 e280 and when i turn it on it

i am assuming the image file means the boot loader, the problem is a bad flash can cause this mostly. also note that if you tried to update the firmware you will have to either re flash it. or send to factory for repair. better to not update new components.firmware if this is the case, they often become bricked units.

Hey, I want to connect my sansa to my car jack. It

When the USB jack is connected to unit, it is not possible to use any of its controls. the unit gets charged and a computer is used to add/delete music/videos/pics. I purchased a unit that plugs into the headphone jack and transmits to any nearby FM radio. That way I can use the sansa in my vehicle.
