- Use a pointed object (like a ballpoint pen) to press and hold the RESET button for 2-3 seconds.
- After 2-3 seconds has elapsed, release the RESET button.
Initialize or Reset option(s) in the camera menus
- The menu layout is different between cameras so check the operating instructions.
- In general, there will be a Reset or Initialize section within the menus of the camera.
- Some cameras allow for resetting or initializing different options such as wireless settings, the settings used in taking the last picture, or all settings. Be sure to look at all available options in the product manual.

- Allow the camera to remain without power for 30 seconds.
- Reinsert the button-sized lithium battery.

This is an indication that your memory card is damaged, either physically - (electronics inside damaged) or the work of a virus. Try scanning it from a card reader, if that fails you need to replace it.
Fuse location
Are you sure your display is not working?Did you try to view pictures you already made? in the viewing mode you can't switch off the screen. While taking pictures you can. For display mode look at page 16 of the manual. It would be strange if there was a fuse for the display. It would be very strange if you could replace a fuse.

It sounds like something has gotten into the "gears" of the lens. It can be something very small like a grain of sand. or something could have jarred the camera and caused the lens to come off of the track and now the lens wont retract. It can be pricey to fix and usually not worth it.
All the snaps stored in my memory card are seen only in camera, not in computer. any solutions for it?
Try NOT connecting your camera to your computer. The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as
Picasa.
