Hi, in this JVC cameras there is a self diagnostic system, when the cameras function is abnormal this dialogue will appear on the screen, try to spray little contact cleaner inside the mode selector switch which is lying below the mechanism. first eject the cassette mechanism disconnect the power look carefully at the left side of the mech , use CRC spry , wait for a five minutes , power ON and test the system. At ten years old, I suspect it may have reached the end of its working life, should be gratefully retired and replaced with a newer model.

hi, if your cameras power supply is connected, ON" the unit connect a B N C to the video out point, the other end connect with the monitors video point.

Hi, Make sure the camcorder's power is off. Open the LCD monitor (cover (MEMORY CARD). To load a memory card, firmly insert it with its clipped edge first. To unload a memory card, push it once. After the memory card comes out of the camcorder, pull it out. Do not touch the terminal on the reverse side of the label. Close the card cover. To protect valuable files (available only for SD Memory Card) use the snap button to capture a scene.
