At least once every couple of days, I have to reinstall the printer because it keeps "disappearing" as a printer option. The HP website is no help. Just got an error message for the first time. Said that "HP was aware of the problem" and gave me an option to click for more info. I did and it took me to HP website, but not to any additional information. Suggestions?

an older friend has a problem, can't fax and the machine gives the following note: "Image on Fax send report is set to off. An image on page 1 will apppear here for faxes that are sent as scan and fax"
I am not on site - she claims she is faxing the way she normally does. Can anyone give suggestions. Is there a button or something she may have pressed?
thanks

I keep getting an error message stating yellow ink is empty, even though I just installed a brand new HP ink cartridge. There is also ink remaining in the previous yellow cart. Spent almost 3 hrs with HP online chat tech which resulted in them telling me it was a hardware issue and oh, by the way, your warranty expired two months ago. Want to buy a new printer? Have checked for solutions on-line and the best I have been able to do is reset by removing the power cord, holding down the OK and Help buttons while replacing power cord. Will then show yellow cart is almost empty and allow me to print one picture before the empty ink cart message displays again. Can anyone help

Turning Power on and off again does not work.
I do not know how to purge ink and I got a new set of Ink cartridges.
Please help me understand how to purge and release air build up.

Hello rjjgraphics.
This is a serious hardware issue in the unit and in most cases , the unit needs to be replaced, so there is a less chance of the issue getting resolved.
Thx
All the best
