Sony DSC-T10 Cybershot vibration problem
I have the same problem with my Sony T-10. I brought it to a Laker game and it started vibrating in shoot mode. I think because it was so loud during the game when I did try to take a picture, it came out blurry. I shook it a couple of times and it went back to normal. I tried to take a picture in the car and at home, no vibration. I tried it in a night club, where it was loud...and the vibration came back.
There is a sensor in the camera that cannot focus on shooting under loud environment. I took the camera back to best buy for repair...and they said they have heard of such a problem. This is an internal damage inside that needs repair.
My camera is really blurry;

have a DSC-P50 and was encountering the same problem. I went in to the
camera set-up mode with the memory stick removed and changed serveral
options (Don't remember which ones, although I do remember trying to
change the "Format" setting) When I re-inserted the memory stick, the
camera worked. " E 61 00 Difficult to adjust focus Inspect the lens block focus reset sensor

T10 kept vibrating and show E:62:10?
On Sony T100 and similar,
its the vibration canceling unit, i had the same problem.
if you have good hads you can fix it.( on your oun risk)
1) disasamble the camera, you will see black plastic box inside, this is he lens unit.
2) on the botom you see 2 scrwes, they are holding the CCD remove them and the ccd unit will come from the lens assembly
3) the next is the stabilizer unit it is the problematic one. it is located on the left side of the lens asebly and is held by 2 screws.
you can test it by puling out the cable connected to it (the conector is just under the lens) and verifign that the problem is solved. ( you can leave it this way it will shoot fine just without the anti shake)
4) to fix it take it out ,remove the plastic cover, you see the lens on a plastic mount it should be glued to the magnet under it. the problem is that the glue fals apart.
remove one of the pins on wich it slides, and take the lens and the magnet out.
5) reglue the magnet and reasemble the camera.
6) power up and test, for me that solved the problem
if you need more help you can mail me at adisarit(et)yahoo(dot)com this is spam mail so be prepared to wait a few days for reply.
this was tested and worked on 2 additional cammeras
Blinking notice on screen E:62:10
E:62:10 means one of the flat cables is loose that leads to the imaging module. Remove the battery and memory card. Remove the five screws and open the camera by lifting the front off. There will be a black plastic sheet lightly glued slightly to the tight of center. This covers two connectors for flat connectors. each has a tiny black hinged bar that can be popped uo with a small flat blade. Then slide the connecter as deep in the socket as possible. Snap the retaining bars back down and replace the black plastic insulator. Reassemble camera.
While you have the camera open canned air can be used to get any lint or dust out of the camera while it its open.

What settings for underwater photos
Most camera's are not made to shoot under water. One of the most important things is an extended possibility for the white balance. Most DSC-T camera's only have some standard settings here, for daylight, cloudy and some light sources, like incandescent and fluorescent.
So even when you have a under water housing, you can't setup the camera for shooting under water. Sorry. Try a ruggedised camera, they are not that expensive and have everything you want.
Error code E:62:20 meaning
This appears to be a problem with a connector inside the camera. Try:
- Take the memory card out, clean the bay and the memory card with compressed air
- Take the battery out, clean it and the battery compartment with compressed air.
- Some users report that you can 'fix' the problem by tapping it gently
on the battery compartment, so that may be worth trying as well.
If these things don't work, it will have to taken to a service technician - it's quite expensive to repair, sadly.
Good luck!
When I open the lens, the screen is dark and displays no image of the object I want to photograph
If you see the display information on modes - but no images of the object and the photos are black - for two reasons:1. Defective matrix camera (CCD). Require replacement of the matrix, setting the camera after replacement - the setting is only able to engineer Sony service center.2. Does not work in the camera shutter - to replace or repair the unit shutter in the lens. Repair is possible at any repair workshop of digital technology.3. If you do not see any picture on the screen - the display is damaged camera - needed to be replaced. The exact cause and complete diagnosis is possible only after the removal of the camera.
