Sounds like an issue with the remote. Try other functions, too. You may need new batteries.

Sounds like a bad connection or setting on one of the devices. First check that the leads are plugged all the way in, if your using the RED/YELLOW/WHITE leads you need to make sure they are pushed all the way in because they can feel ok but not be all the way in. Same with all leads but those in particular can be troublesome unless they are fitted correctly.

Of Course there is a fuse at its main power regulator board. but, you must have sound knowledge in electronics, to replace it, especially to Plasma displays. If you wish to get more details, check the site linked here. If you have confidence, follow.

Panasonic th-42px600u high pitch sound
likely a coil or small transformer in the set is vibrating hard enough to make it squeel, it would have to be located with back off by listening to see where it comes from.cure would be to replace the entire board it is on or hot glue the part that is causing this to dampen the sound. If it is coming from the front screen unit that is a more serious issue.

Panasonic TH-42PX600U
There are a lot of sets that do this and it has been attributed to bad capacitors.
One thing is for sure and that is that the power supply in your set is pulling too much current. You can see the information on bad capacitors here:
http://www.badcaps.net
Then you can decide what action you want to take. IF you decide to have it serviced, call around and get bids and you take the set in and you dont get charged a service call.

Does model th-c42hd18 require only
I am not familar with your exact model but my Panasonic TH-42PX600U 42 in. Plasma uses a generic brand wall mount. The first mount I bought would not fit so I returned it and bought a different brand which worked well. Start shopping your local stores (even walmart has a couple of different types to choose from), carefully open the packaging in case you need to return it and see if it will fit the mounting holes on the back of your TV. If it fits on the back of the TV then you should be good to go.

Random Side Panel Inputs
You either have a bad Main board or simply a bad touch control button in other word one of your side buttons is defective and it is blocking any other signal to the main board, but usually its a bad main board. In some cases ther is a FIRMWARE update from Panasonic, you may want to call Panasonic or check there website for any type of FIRMWArE UPDATE.

Panasonic TC-L32X1 The picture blinks on and off but it still has power
These blinks (flashes) are fault indication. By the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit stage inside the TV. Count the blinks occur at one time switch ON, carefully. Do it once again, and make sure about the number of blinks. If the flashes are continious, non-stop, the main system control IC should be suspected. If you wish to get more details, check the site linked here. It has blinking codes detail to many brand TVs. Pull up older posts. Check the site in '

Panasonic tv relay clicks
Try disconnecting all of your HDMI cables and plugging the power cord of the TV into another wall outlet. If this resolves the issue, you may have had a small power surge from either your wall outlet or one of your source devices. It is recommended to connect your TV to a surge protector if you haven't done so already.
