Replans route every 60 seconds

It is possible that your device is re-routing due to traffic. Inside the control panel or settings of the device you should find the routing options. Try disabling routing by traffic.

In highly congested areas it is common for GPS devices to attempt to find a "way out" when in reality, even GPS can't compete with the amount of traffic on our roads today.

I hope this helps.

GO 910 keeps freezing every step of the way. Deos not switch off.

1- Right click on your Desktop select New > Folder. Name this folder Backup.
2- Connect the GO 910 to the computer, reset the device using the reset hole on the bottom, and then turn back on.This following link will allow you to locate the reset hole on the GO 910 http://www.tomtom.com/support/index.php?Language=1&query=reset&FID=4229
3- Click on Start > My Computer > TomTom Drive which should be under Device with Removable Storage.
4- Once you double click on the TomTom Drive, you will then be able to see all the files and yellow folders which you have on the GO 910.
5- I want you to select and copy all the files and yellow folders, go to the Backup folder you created and paste there.
6- Once that is done successfully, Click again on Start > My computer and this time I want you to right click on the TomTom Drive and select Format (FAT or FAT 32).
7- Once you have formatted, I will then need you to go back to the Backup folder and select the following 7 yellow folders: Western Europe Map, North America map, Guam map, Canary Island map, Zip, Loquendo TTS and Voices.
8- Copy those 7 folders and paste them back onto the GO 910 (Start > My computer > TomTom Drive, and click on paste into the TomTom Drive).
9- Once that is done, you can now download TomTom HOME (if you do not already have HOME installed) to re-install the application back on your GO 910. Could you please click on http://www.tomtom.com/plus/service.php?ID=17&Language=1 and select the first choice downloadable choice, which is Download (EXE). Download and save this to your desktop.
10- In TomTom HOME, if pop-up window does not appear notifying you of updates, then simply click on ''Update now'' which is on the top right hand corner.
11- Once a download has been found, please install the application and test the GO 910

Voice frequently not working. this problem

Are you using a synth voice, or a sampled voice? If the latter, one of the voice files might be damaged, and in that case, as soon as the Tomtom accesses it, the whole voice function will shut down.

Try changing the voice and see what happens. The synth voice does not access any sample files and should always work (or never at all).

To restore the functionality, download again the voice files, or try restoring from the PC backup. At least, this worked for me when I had the same problem (but MY file was damaged at the end, so I was able to notice that the last thing the Tomtom said was always "In sevent*". The damaged file was, I suppose, the one with the word "seventy".
