it sounds like the printer has not accepted the changed cartridge. Try turning the printer off at the mains for 30 seconds then back on again, it sometimes works, or if that fails take out the cartridge's turn off printer for 30 mins then back on re insert inks and see if that works. If it fails then there could well be a chip set failure on the cartridge you have replaced or maybe another cartridge within the set. It's well worth saving the cartridge too as compatibles sometimes fail to be read by your printer but rarely the actual cartridges fail, you can put that same cartridge back in later for it to be accepted by the printer.
