To download music onto your iPod Shuffle you first need to make sure you have the music and media Application from Apple Inc, called iTunes downloaded and installed onto your computer first.

Download iTunes (for Mac or PC)

Once iTunes has been successfully downloaded and installed on your computer, simply connect your iPod
Shuffle via USB cable to your computer (if you have not already done so) and iTunes in moments will recognize your Shuffle.

If this doesn't fix it, and it's over a year old, and you don't have an AppleCare Protection Plan... Recycle it, because man, it's gone.
BTW: The unit charges off of a standard USB port. Double check the connection and USB cable for defects and try another computer and USB cable.

first thing its getting charge through pc'c usb> it will get charged through teh dongle>so connect the dongle to teh pc make sure pc is up and rounning and connect the i-pod and that will charged initially u can see the light orange blinking which means its charging and u can either turn on it or off it while charging thx rate me solved if its helps

As I understand it video podcasts will not work on the shuffle. However there are a ton of great audio podcasts that you can subscribe to free of charge from the iTunes store. Podcasts vary in length and mbs used. The podcasts I listen to are about an hour long. On a 1 gig shuffle you can fit about 26 hours of podcasts.

Probably dirt and dust inside the player.

You can either do a restore:
Connect to your computer and open itunes.
When you first open itunes you should be in "Devices"
Make sure you're in the "Summary" tab and you will have a button that says "Restore"
Click that and it will do the rest.


Or
Sync with an itunes library that has no files on it, this will also remove the files from your ipod.

Also, iPods work with iTunes, so be sure you use that when copying music from the computer to the Shuffle.

there are 2 different ways to delete an App: 1) t's easy to delete apps from the iPhone or iPad. Simply tap and hold on any icon, see them to start to wiggle and tap the X button in the left corner. 2) For devices running iOS 5 and later, the way to do this is hidden in the Settings app, in the General tab, under Usage. you can manage the apps on your iOS device. Once there, you'll notice (after a small delay if you have a lot of apps) that your on-board apps are listed in descending size order. In other words, the apps that take up a lot of space will be listed first. Tap on any app and you'll get even more info, including the version, the size of the app, all associated media, and the size of the Documents & Data. Just below that, you'll have a Delete App button in "danger" red. At the very bottom, you'll see how much space is available on the device itself. Deleting apps that take up too much space can be helpful when you're trying to install new apps, of course. You may even notice apps that have a lot of storage attached to them that you weren't even aware of, like internet radio apps that sync songs to your device to play during the time you're not connected to the internet. Thanks for using FixYa.Connect the Ipod with the iTunes and then delete all songs from your iTunes library and then sync your ipod with the iTunes, this will erase all the songs from your ipod.

You can uncheck the songs on iTunes library first, and then sync iPod with iTunes, the songs will be deleted from your iPod. Or you may try this iTunes alternative, it's easy to delete your iPod songs, videos and photos. http://www.reviewstown.com/itunes-alternative.html Hope it helps.
