Did you replace it with an identical part? Should work fine if you did. I would contact Toshiba tech services for guidance on this matter. Have you tried it with an external monitor?

Did You Check to See If Memory is in correctly ?you might have dislodged them by accident please check this !! When you say that the hard drive works I have to ask how you know. There are not many parts in a laptop that would make a clicking noise. One of them is the hard drive. Is there any display activity at all? Lights on the unit that come on?

That error comes up when the computer cannot find the hard drive or any other device to boot from so it looks for a network booting program and when it cannot find that, the error shows up. REPLACE YOUR HARD DISK,

Is there a HMDI output on your Laptop or a VGA output. Some TV's have a DSUB input source that allows VGA depends on your laptop it could be HDMI if so TV should have an extraz HDMI input on the back and you change the source input on the TV to the HDMI 2 or HDMI 3 source depending on where you plugged in the P.C. . If HDMI you need to buy a HDMI cable.

Hello,It could be a hardware or software problem. You need to isolate the problem. To isolate the problem, restart your computer and tap F8 until you see the options to boot to safe mode. Use the arrow keys to highlight safe mode. Hit enter. If you can boot to safe mode, then do a system restore inside safe mode to revert the computer config back to a known good date. If you can't boot to safe mode, then it's for sure a hardware issue and you need to get it serviced by a technician. David
