If you want to use photo paper for your Xerox phaser make sure the photo paper is meant to be used in your printer. The best paper would be the Xerox brand photo paper which is made to be used in the Xerox phaser printers. You use them like normal paper and print your document or image onto the paper. If you cannot find the paper that works with this xerox printer go to the Xerox website and under supplies, then entering your printer model it will give a list to the paper recommended for this model.

I have a XEROX 6200 Printer. I tried to do the solutions above, but I did not have those options in the Maintenance Menu. I pulled out the Transfer Roller Unit and opened up the two screws on top. When I pulled the top, it was loaded with toner. I poured out all that toner in the trash and blew out the rest with a air gun till it was clean. Be careful of the two white gears on the side, when you take off the top. You don't want to lose them. Anyhow, I reassembled the unit back and stuck it back into the printer and the error message was gone. Yeayyyyyyyyy!

The 6250 is a laser printer and has to printhead or wiper. If it's not printing 2 sided that's most likely the duplex unit giving the problem, but please verify the model.

Try resetting. Power unplug - not off only for a few minutes and replug. You might get lucky.

I get this many times but I always see the paper jammed when I open it up. Once I removed the sheet which seems to stop at the transfer roller, I restart but it sometimes happens again. One has to check the paper in the tray and see if it is free inside the top of the tray.I move the pickup. Have you turned it off for a few mins then on again. Tried different paper? Good luck

try changing the settings for your printer and see what that does i had the same problem. i changed the settings and it printed normally

What it is saying is the image drum needs replacing. That is a separate part on this printer. You just need to get one from Xerox.

It will pop in almost as easy as the toner cartridge. After your print quality should improve a lot. If you look at a page now you may see little specks of toner scattered on the page or rougher edges on things. A new image drum will get rid of all of that.

This error message means that you already have reached the 15,000 prints and the transfer roller needs to be replaced.

In some cases you can reset the transfer roller from the printers control panel. Try this:

• Go to the Menu MAP (Main Menu)
• Go to Supplies Info
• Scroll and look for Transfer Roller Reset
• If it does not have one, Go to Transfer roller life and see if it has a reset option.

If it does not have one, you need to replace the transfer roller.

If your printer wont print from the bottom tray, it is often caused by a broken switch. Please check to see if the switch in the printer is not broken. Just take the tray out and look inside, you will see a switch assembly that corresponds to the printer tray setting. Also, please look at the paper sensor and see if it swings properly. If you will need to get a part, 116134300 1 SWITCH; PAPER SIZE ASSEMBLY. Here are additional troubleshooting that you may apply on this concern.

1. Unplug the Phaser 6250 usb and power cable. Wait for 30 seconds and plug both cables back in. Press the devices power button and try to print again to see if power cycling resolved the problem.

2. Try to uninstall and reinstall the driver if there is still a problem.

Are you canceling print jobs? That may sometimes cause for the printer to print those codes.

Yes it can be the used fuser. Kind of odd for it to be anything else but the fuser.
