Printer does not print in clour or black
Inkjet printers need to be used frequently to
prevent ink drying out and blocking the print head nozzles.
If the print head cleaning maintenance routine does not clear the blockages,
then print head needs replacing, but it may be expensive.
It may be more cost effective to buy a later model and better printer than replace
the print head.

I HAVE ALL IN ONE KODAK 5100 BUT DOESN'T HAVE THE SOFTWARE TO INSTALL IS ON MY COMPUTER HOW DO I FIND THE SOFTWARE TO INSTALL
The Kodak support site has the software available for download:
http://support.en.kodak.com/app/answers/list/c/890/selected/true . Make sure that you are on the Downloads tab and use the drop-down menus to select your printer (Printer > All-in-One > 5100). The first file in the list is for most Windows OS versions (XP through Windows 8). Click on the appropriate link and then click the Download button on the next page. Make sure that the printer isn't directly connected to the computer when you run the program. Then connect the USB cable after the software is installed. Note: this doesn't include any third-party software that may have been on the original disk.I hope this helps. Cindy Wells(if you had the USB cable connected, you may need to uninstall the Windows generic driver for the printer from the computer. In Windows, go to the Printers Control Panel and find the printer. Left-click on the printer and then click Remove on the Menu Bar. (Alternatively right-click on the printer and select Remove Device.)
Print head clog and I use half my ink unclogging them
Hi,
Thanks for using FixYa!
There is indeed another way to unclog your print head without wasting ink. All you need to do is to take out the cartridge then get some alcohol (not liquor but the antiseptic type like ethyl or isopropyl used for treating wounds or cleaning stuff) drop around 3 drops of alcohol into the ink inlet and leave it overnight. This should declog and clean the print head. I hope this helps because it did work for me.
Have a nice day.
