I have a Brother MFC-3360C printer and have an error. Clean Unable 51

Error 51 normally indicates a paper jam or a sensor problem. Check the paper path and the printer head movement zones (far left and right) for any foreign objects (even small pieces of paper). If there has been a paper jam, was the paper forcibly removed? If so, possibly one of the sensors has been knocked out of position or damaged. Dust, dirt, grease or spilled ink may also be contaminating a sensor. This is maybe one of the most elusive problems to solve..!

Brother printer MFC-3360c working for years now it

Most likely the soldered-on fuse on the circuit board has blown. Check online for information on how to replace this or contact Brother Support for instructions. I have found that the prices on the replacement parts through the manufacturer is very price competitive and their staff helpful.

No cartridge the printer say. i put new cartridge in

It mean that the black cartridge is not recognised. It the black cart is original or compatible? Some printer won't recognise cartridge, if the black and colour is not same type. Try to install the black only. Is it recognised?

My Brother MFC-3360C has worked perfectly until I

Hello,
First I will have to recommend that you leave the unit connected directly into your computer rather then through the USB hub.
You will also want to reset the printer.
1. Turn the power off by unplugging the cable. 2. Hold down the Menu button 3. Plug the power back in while holding menu 4 You should see "maintenance" on the screen; if you do not repeat steps 1-3. 5. Press 0 1 6. Once you return to Maintenance, press 9 9
If this still does not work you will want to uninstall and reinstall the software.
Thanks,
Pat
