Remove the board on which the capacitor is mounted, find where it is soldered in on the underside of the board, remove with soldering iron, clean the mounting holes, insert the new cap and re solder. Take note of the Negative and Positive leads before removing the old one and place the new one correctly. I Take this is one of the high voltage capacitors on the power supply board.

1. check cables correctly hooked.2. If you mix the video and audio cables, you wont get sound. 3 So audio cable in audio and video in its place and be ready to say-voila!

Try switching it back on with the tv remote?

Not sure how you are connected to receive the signal, but if you are not using a cable box and going off air, then either the signal is not coming in from NBC, or your antenna needs adjustment. IF its over the air, its also a digital signal which will tune to lets say channel 4. For digital it will be 4.1 or 4.2 etc. If you are using a cable/sat box to then connect to the TV, call the provider and ask.

Setting menu and it might be under inputs. Check google for the manual and it should explain it in detail as LG had many ways to lock out inputs.

I experienced a similar problem with my 52" Sharp Aquos TV. I called and spoke with Sharp service dept. and they walked me thru the process of resetting the TV to it's original "default" values. It worked great once I completed the steps while on the phone with them. suggest you do the same thing with JVC.

No most of ir sensors are very cheap and the replacement is very easy but make sure that this is tha faulty one because ir sensors are very difficult to malfunction

Yes it can most of no power problems have to do with the Psu of the tv set

propably mainboard issue replacing will fix the problem or just replacing the audio ic also

you have the energy saving mode on or the intelligent sensor on go to picture menu and turn them off both then you should be fine

This is a screen-panel issue the only way to fix it is to replace the screen
