Go into your control panel. Select display. There will be a picture showing 2 screens. Select the 2nd screen, and lower resolution to it's minimum. Apply and test. Slowly increase till you find what your happiest with. Worked for me using a ASUS laptop and LG60'plasma.

Sounds like a power board fault.

Is the picture fuzzy whether you are waching tv or a dvd or a tape. If it's only fuzzy on tv or dvd or tape then it's the source. If all inputs are fuzzy suspect a bad tv.

I am assuming this should read 'Set top box'. What kind of cable are you using? Usually the set top box connects via a SCART lead but yours may be HDMI if it is a very new set top box. If you are using RCA plugs, you may have cross connected the wrong cables. The RCA cables should be colour-coded. RED and WHITE are for audio, Yellow is for video. Best advice is to switch it all off, remove all the cables you attached, and start again. The instruction manual/user guide usually has an illustration to help you identify what your set up looks like - there are usually several examples. If the cables you need did not come with the set top box, you will need to purchase them. When you are connecting audio leads, you should use the 'audio out' on the set top box and the 'audio in' on your TV set. It would help to know the EXACT model number of LG screen you have and the make and EXACT model number of the set top box. Good luck.

Hi Stacy, I appreciate your DIY effort. But there are certain conditions for a good Inverter board to work. A good Inverter board will not work if it does not get power from power supply board and certain other commands like "Inverter on" and "brightness control" from the main board. All these things are printed near the connector on the inverter board.

A simple test is to cover the Remote sensor on the front of the TV with a piece of duck tape with aluminum foil where the sensor is, this will test to see if it is random IR from lights or other sources.

did you use the audio in cable which is in your TV cause HDMI works video interface not a audio

Sorry,this can't be repair or worth repairing,because replacing the LCD screen panel or any tvs screen panels for that matter,will cost the same as a new tv.The tvs screen panels are 90% of the tv.The tv corporations produced limited screen panels,that what they charge for a tv screen panel same as a new tv,no where else u will able to find the screen panels.Ur tv now,only worth as electronic boards for parts,that it.
