49.4c18 error

This is a formatter error!
Process to resolve:
Unplug the power cord from the machine, and leave it disconnected for about 10 minutes. Plug it back in and power on.

If the error still persists you will need to replace the formatter. Formatter errors occur mostly when sending over .PDF files if it's a communication based issue. However the P3005 are notorious for having the formatters go bad.

My printer hp lj 3005

49.XXXX is a critical firmware error. It may be caused by a bunch of things such as bad input data or data corruption due to poor cables.

From the service manual :-

Recommended action

1. Press CANCEL JOB to clear the print job from the printer memory.

2. Turn the printer off, and then turn the printer on again.

3. Go to http: www.hp.com/support/lj2410, www.hp.com/support/lj2420, or www.hp.com/support/lj2430. Click Download Drivers and Software. Check for the latest firmware image version at the bottom of the page. If this firmware image is newer than the one installed on the printer and the printer can receive a firmware update, download the newer firmware upgrade. Not all printer models can receive firmware upgrades.

4. Try printing a job from a different software program. If the job prints, go back to the first program and try printing a different file. If the message appears only with a certain software program or print job, contact the software vendor for assistance.

Hope this helps

My HP Laserjet 3005 has faint print on the

If it happens even after replacing the toner cartridge or if you current cartridge has enough toner, it is most likely be due to dust at the laser reflecting mirrors inside the printers, which partially blocks laser beams and requires cleaning/ servicing by a professional.

GoodLuck!
Dont forget to appreciate the solution if I could have been of any help!

My laserjet p3005 is not

This is almost always going to be the toner cartridge. Swap it out if you have a spare. If not even if you have an empty one, just shake it a bit and put it back in to see if the blank lines go away. It is at least 90% chance or better that the problem is in the cartridge.
Good Luck and Thank You for using Fixya.

Why my printer always stuck

The picker roll at the back of the unit is badly adjusted, it presses to strongly on the papers and creases them.
You must open the printer and adjust it.

As my printing job begins,

No oil ever. The first thing you should do it try another toner cartridge. Squeeks are very hard to pinpoint. Thank you, Steven 805-520-3003

Any size paper we send through the printer comes

It is either the fuser or toner cartridge. Try a known good toner cartridge. If this solves the problem, then you have a bad toner cartridge. This can often occur when cartridge is near "end of life".
If this doesn't solve the problem, then most likely it is the fusing assembly. You can also try a "half page" test print. Stop the printing in the middle by opening the toner cartridge access door before the paper reaches the fusing assembly. "No defects" , then I would strongly suspect the fusing assembly. HP is replacing these fusers based on Mfg date. of the printer. Call HP if it is a fusing assembly problem.

My hp laserjet p3005n is giving me a message

Check the sensor flag where the paper exits the printer, make sure it is not stuck in the "up" position. There is a small black plastic flap right in the center of where the paper exits. When this flap is up it tells the printer that this area is full. HP instructions are to "flip" the sensor flag up and down to make sure it is not stuck. Please be careful when doing this as it is a delicate piece.
If you need further assistance i will be here to answer your questions thanks and have a great day.

I hear a rhythmic grinding

This is a problem that HP refuses to acknowledges. Its caused by the gear that meshes with the main fuser gear..it wanders to the right as the printer prints.

Since you that you already replaced the fuser and the gear, you may also need to check the three (3) lower gears and then you should be able to find the part numbers " RU5-0955, RU5-0960, RU5-0962.

Thank you and good luck!
