bad keyboard, buy a new one. bad HP driver for it. missing,/bad/wrong or corrupted is this XP, what OS is there? why post lacking OS name, windows what? those are the simple causes. if you take a boot disk/ or mem stick with linux live on it and it fails,. the keyboard is bad. if not the OS is corrupted, a 5 min test, and bingo... why/

well; first is to find out what that is, its machine code .exe and as such can be virus. you posted not tellowin what OS you are running. windows 10? its HP live TV so reload it, that means go to HP and get the live TV app and install it, if you want it. if you have no need for it, use the windows unstaller. called (in w10) i never use windows for uninstalls ever. u better remove ur ram and reinsert in slot if you have two rams in mother board please take out one ram from one slot and check if it same take out another ram from slot and check it

This sounds like a common issue. The boot manager file "NTLDR" Can become corrupt or go missing due to a few situations. 1) Shut down improperly 2) Virus 3) Bad hard disk 4) Windows being windows. Too fix this simply use a windows 7 cd and boot from it. Choose the Repair option and let it do its thing. If i recall there's also a repair startup option you can use aswell. Windows repair usually fixes the problem but if that doesnt work you can also put the hard disk into another computer and copy over replacement boot loader files. ""

"" Try that. The windows repair usually works but if you have to use the alternative and it doesnt work it could be your MBR. Windows repair also fixes this but theres an old command you can run from the dos shell of the cdrom "mbrfix or fixmbr" That will take care of it. Good Luck :)
