You need to go into the windows "Control Panel" and select the "Regional and Languages" option and then select the language and options you want.

Go to control panel> sounds and audio devices> click on the voice tab. From there you will see a "test hardware" button. Click that and it will walk you through the troubleshooting steps to find the problem. It could be that you don't have the proper input selected or the level is not set loud enough.

You will probably find that you have to boot up the laptop with the CD in. Put the recovery disc in and restart your laptop, if asked during boot up press any key to boot from CD, do so and follow the instructions.

Always get your drivers and specific software from the manufacturer of your Laptop, Notebook or Desktop. They are usually free of charge.

If you were to log on to the www.acer.com web site, usually one is able to download if available, by model number, All available Driver downloads as required.

If the driver is not available, perhaps your manufacturer does not support the OS you are installing.

This is the best way of ensuring up to date drivers for your system and they are free of charge!

How do I reinstall the Operating System on my computer? Select models have the ability to have the Operating System reinstalled from a hidden partition built into the computer.

To start the system recovery:

1. Restart the computer.
2. When the Acer logo appears on the screen, press the Alt and F10 keys repeatedly.

most likely a drive issue. check the acer website and download the latest touchpad driver for Windows 7, make sure to get the one for the correct edition (32-bit/64-bit)

You can not change the video card, because there are no agp slot.It is inbuilt by company.
I can not under stand ,why you would like to install video card .Is your laptop cant run? If so
Follow bellow these step.


Remove the dc battery,from back side the laptop, and unplug the dc adapter.You will hold or press the power button for 40 seconds.Now you plug the adapter to your laptop and the Battery also.Start and,you will get positive result.
