Try re-installing your printer software and pick the language desired. If that does not work, delete the printer software from the Control Panel unistall option, reboot your computer and re-install the software.

The printer may have been the target of an electrical event such as a voltage spike or surge, and has been lost. I usually push the power button on a printer with issues while it is unplugged to make sure it has lost all stored power. Plug it back into the wall and see if it responds to the power button.
