Im not sure how to do it,or what cables to use
Hi my name is Roety,
I can help you with your issue ,
Just pick one not both, HDMI is an all in one cable for sound and picture.
S video cable is for just video and you would also need to red and white cables with it

Is my hd 1080 tv dtv ready or do i need a
I can tell you that your HDTV is definitely dtv ready. Models that are new enough to display a 1080 picture will definitely have a tuner that reads the new digital format. If you hook up a regular antenna to your HD tv, you will be able to search for, find and watch HDTV channels. The availability of free hd channels is limited to what is broadcast in the area that you live in.
Unfortunately, this does not mean that you will not need a cable box from a provider. This is because not only do cable providers provide channels, but they scramble signals so that you can only see the channels you pay for.
For example I have two HDTVs. One is upstairs and plugged into the cable socket in the wall. One is downstairs and plugged into a box from my cable company.
Upstairs with no cable box, I can search for channels in the setup and the tv will show many channels that aren't just numbered like "13" or "48" but had a dash in them like "4-10". This is the new format. I can see all the 'basic cable' channels as well as the listen to the music-only digital channels the cable company provides. I cannot access any of the HD channels from this TV, even though I pay for them.
Downstairs, through the cable box, I can watch all the HD channels I pay for, and the box also translate the digital channels like "4-10" to the regular numbering system we are all used to.
I hope that helps.
How do i get my laptop to play thru my hd tv. I
your computer must be set up to display images to another playback unit - i.e. tv. go into display proprerties and choose "another" video display. right now the laptop is only set to display to your laptop.
I connected Acer netbook (via VGA) to my RCA 42
Someone told me to use the settings in the "graphics tab" (for multiple monitors) not the settings in the "properties tab". Both allow multiple monitor configurations. Two minutes later and high have a 42" LCD HD monitor!
Lost tv manual
Check Acer's website they should have it up somewhere there
Adding Bluetooth
Go to a computer/electronics store. Ask for a Bluetooth USB Adapter , they shouldn't cost more than 10$
