I bought the same one for my daughter, it did the same thing to me. Lost all photos. Tried it again did the same thing, tried for the third time took more pictures it worked. I think the camera has a glitch in the program. Brought it back and bought a better camera, now no problems. Also doesnt take very good pictures, all grainy when I got it to work.

Your camera has a SD card slot. If you have one of these in your camera then it is just a matter of transferring them from the card to your computer. Most stores that carry the SD cards will have a card reader you can buy. You connect the card reader to your computer and insert your SD card into it. From there you can open up this card reader in MY computer, select your photos, right click and hit copy. The you open up the file you want to put them in (like my documents then my pictures) and right click again and go to paste. This wil transfer all those pictures you have selected onto your computer but they will still be on the SD card too. Hope this helps. The card readers cost about $20 give or take.

You should be able to see the camera as a "removeable storage device" in your my computer which you will find from your desktop or from your start menu, from there you can double click on it to open the drive / camera and you may come across a few folders, but inside you should find your pictures.

you can select, then copy all the pictures into any location on your computer.

if you have a sd card reader, put your card in the reader and then go to my computer, then go to removable disc drive, your reader should come up with all the picts on it

You should have a USB cable that plugs from the camera into the computer. If you have software that came with the camera you must install it. After installation, use the software to retrieve the pictures.

but there is a mouse hand holding a picture in the top left corner...right click that and choose "save as"

if you hear the little beep and the light on the front of the camera blinks then you took a picture. the lcd screen on the back should count your pictures.

I'll apriciate your website and it came up high in the google list. But i bought a new product that doesn't work. I'm not willing to pay for a solution. So i looked a bit furder and posted the problem by digital blue. Waiting for a reply....

try to use other usb connector and connect it directly to your board at the back of your pc not the front
or try to insert other computer if your camera detect into the other computer it mains your computer maybe encountered the virus. and when your camera inserted to your computer if have apear this word
(new found hardware) it mains your camera need a driver software, thank you

I believe its the camera, most cameras like this only have internal memery and that take alot of battery power. And for the uploading, you'll need good strong batteries like regular duricell. camera batteries wont work that well because they were only made for one flask kind of deal and not for prolonged use like uploading

load window XP use both operating sys. for downloading use window XP

If you computer is a Windows machine with ME/2000/XP/
It needs no 'driver' Windows can do it all by its self
Just plug the camera in, set it to upload,
The scanner Camera wizard comes up
Just select what it is you want to do.

usually all firewalls have to be disabled. or trying to go to web site and load driver from there. hope this helps
