Navigate to Acer's website. Select support and drivers. It will then prompt you for your computers model number or make, and operating system version. From there, you will be able to download the drivers you need. Save them to a USB drive, and transfer them onto your notebook.

The driver for your laptops wireless card will be categorized under "Network".

First, make sure speakers are plugged into speaker out, not line out, and all the cable are all the way in to the ports.
Second, check the sound control in the control panel to make sure master, and other settings are up.
Third, make sure the volume on the speakers are turned up.

Some of the programs also have their own volume control, make sure those are set correct.

This could be either some sort of software issue or perhaps a hardware issue. It sounds like the monitor connector could be loose. If you know someone who would be able to check the internal connection (safely, without damaging the computer) that would be a great place to start. Anytime you open a computer you must be very careful and do so at your own risk. Ensure that the power is disconnected and the battery is removed, most parts are static sensitive. If you have the option to save anything like files and photo's stored on your hard drive you should do this before you attempt a recovery because you will loose all files it will format your hard drive

Normally when you hit the power key you also tap the ALT+ F10 key a few times until it gets you
into the acer recovery manager and when asked for a password try 000000 thats is ( 6 zero's ) and follow the on screen instructions


if the F10 option dont work

then restar laptop and tap the F2 key to get you into bios and go over to about the 3rd of 4th option
and make sure that the D2D is enabled if it is not then click on it and change to enable
then click F10 to save and exit


then go back and try the ALT+F10 keys again

if you have a smartphone you can load a barcode scanner onto the phone and use it to see what your S/N is

Judging from what's written on the screen, it seems as though your notebook is trying to boot up via your network card.
Check to see if your hard drive is being detected & whether it is set up as your first boot device by entering into your CMOS (BIOS) setup. You can access the setup by pressing either F1, F2 or Del. keys, depending on your model, as soon as your notebook is turned on.
Once in the setup, look for boot options & make sure your hard drive is set as the primary or first boot device.

If you boot your computer, and after loggin in you receive a Black Screen but are still able to see the mouse move, try bringing up your tsk mngr (Ctrl+Alt+Del) then go to proccess' and click end proccess on explorer.exe then go to applications and press new task then type in explorer.exe, this should solve the problem, if not then I am sorry, that is what solved my problem.

the only other way you can get your stuff off is put the hard drive in a caddy and connect it to another computer it sounds like you could have a virus and its locked you out of your desktop

Sounds like your backlight is going bad. However a backlight problem should have nothing to do with an external monitor.

If others can see you then your camera is working. If only you can't see them it's because the program in your laptop isn't configured correctly - reinstall it and do all the configurations all over again, especially make sure all video connections are accepted.

Your screen inverter is going bad, you will need to replace the screen inverter. You can parts on ebay, and you may need to take your computer apart to get it replaced.

The below procedure will only work if you still have your original hard drive in the PC and have not reformatted or reinstalled windows from another media source.

On bootup you will see a message on the Acer splash screen to get into "SETUP".
This will take to your Acer BIOS and it is accomplished by either hitting the F2 or DEL F2 key.

Once inside the BIOS navigate to the menus and make sure that D2D option recovery is enabled. If you do not see this D2D option then you can exit and should not have to do anything else.

Restart the PC again, hold down the ALT and the F10 key altogether, which allows to start the recovery partition and load your system to factory default.

There is a wireless switch on the front of the machine, if that doesn't fix it, let me know.

Broadcom is for networking, WIFI, etc. Has nothing to do with hard drive. Most likely you are using multiple network adapters and could have created a conflict. If on WIFI, try disabling the 10/100 broadcom network adapter. If it's not hurting anything, don't do anything...be happy it works.
