Use the connectivity software and connect your mobile to your pc. after this, find an option saying connect to the internet in the connectivity software that came with the mobile. call the customer care and ask for the access point for your carrier enter it into the internet settings in the software. reset it in deafult configuration (factory default).

This is a very common issue. I have repaired the issue and have even experienced the problem on one of my own BlackBerry phones. The charging port, the USB port that is, must be replaced. It is quite the annoying problem but getting the USB port repaired would be your only option. Other than that, take a look at the port, see that all the pins look okay and maybe you can get lucky.

Try a battery pull. Take the battery while its still on out for a few seconds, then put it back in.


If this does not work then

1. Unplug BB from PC.

2. Launch the Application Loader like you were going to install something.

3. While the app loader is attempting to connect to the BB, plug the USB cable into the BB.

This should solve the problem

the best thing u will do is try to find it on the computer so that u can open your phone same thing happen to me i forgot the code number but it was already fix when i try to search on the computer and then it was opened .

try a secondary battery as well as a second charger (I believe the pearl uses micro USB, which is also used by bluetooth headsets, other phones, and pcs- you could even plug it into a pc with the cable to see if it charges)
