Xerox Phaser 8560MFP Laser Printer - Page 9 Questions & Answers
Hi I have an error
Hi
This error mean that the there is an issue with the ink loader and/or ink sticks. 09 refers to the system having the issue (ink loader) and the 03x refers to the color having the problem ( where x=5 for cyan, 6 for magenta, 7 for yellow, and 8 for black). Your error code indicates that the issue is with the Cyan ink. Try removing the Cyan ink stick and then reinsert it. If this doesn't resolves the issue then try multiple number of times.
To clear the error, remove all the ink from the ink loader. Clean the ink loader system while the Xerox machine is turned off and unplugged. This may resolve the issue. However, if issue still persists then check if any of the ink left at the heaters is cracked. This is extremely difficult as it is hard to reach there. Perform a power cycle and check if error still exists.
If error still persists then try this reset procedure to clear the fault. Before the Xerox logo centers press and hold the back and help buttons. Once the machine displays beginning service mode release the buttons and it will reboot. Once it boots up in service mode scroll to the FUNCTION menu and enter. Now scroll to the CLEAR ISC FAULT and enter to reset. Hope this helps... If it does please do not forget to accept the solution or post back for assistance.

Print error 09, 005, 40:5069
Hi
This error in Xerox 8560 printer occurs when Cyan ink melt heater is on but the ink is not dripping. To troubleshoot this issue please make sure that you are using genuine Xerox ink. If yes then run Clear ISC Fault test to clear the error. The Clear ISC Fault is located in the Internal Diagnostics Function menu.
Also check for broken or wrong type of ink sticks. After this try clearing the fault by running Clear ISC Fault option. If the sticks are also fine then run the appropriate Ink Melt (1,2,3,4) Heater test. If the test fails then there is an issue with the print head.

Can't read the display window.
I have seen the same behavior on my 8560N. Sometimes the screen will be backlit, but the characters on the display are garbled. Other times, the backlight is off and the screen is blank. No manner of button pushing or tweaking the printer web server will bring the display back on. After a while, the display will just clear itself. I did not see this behavior until after I had a REALLY bad paper jam and some cardstock became lodged inside the print engine. I had to take the printer body panels off (which required disassembling the display interface. When I put it back together, everything worked, but the display started this strange behavior the next morning. Is it related? I don't know, but it sure was coincidental timing if not related.
The printed document's font is
In your menu lcd display there will be an adjustment for the zoom and font size just lookk at the menu and select the area that you wish to adjust then there are either small buttons or arrows tha you press to make changes to the way the document prints. Actually you can use third party toner on this unit or on any printer brand, manufacturer will always say that to a client that you will have problem in the future if you wont be using a genuine toner from them for marketing purpose of coarse. With my experience for different brands of printer you wont really be having issue using third party toner if you use it properly and check it regularly.
I have a Xerox 8560MFP printer with the following
Your print head is stuck. Either the print head block has gotten ink in it and will not allow it to tilt, or the print head wiper is tacked, ( stuck) to the print head not allowing it to move properly.
The screen lettering is so light I can't see it.
Several problems.
1) when transferring to Iphoto on computer, click to erase original photos from camera. But, get error message and will not delete from camera. Must delete one at a time (how delete all at once?). And how to delete all after transferring to computer?
2) how to Reset camera to original settings?

That code is a back stick count failure.
You want to look in your ink loader, see if there is a stick jammed,
twisted, broken or in anyother way out of place or hung up in the slot.
Be sure you loaded a 8550 stick also, since the shapes on the different phaser printer sticks are all different.
You may have to carefully remove the black sticks and reload them. You
can take a screw and screw it into the ink stick, slide it back and
remove.
Most likely you will find a gap in the ink sticks causing the problem. Here are the Xerox support page instructions.
- Open and close the Top Cover to resolve the problem.
- If the problem persists, arrange the ink sticks until there are no spaces between sticks of the same color.
- Check for non 8500/8550 ink sticks jammed in the
ink load chutes. If non 8500/8550 ink sticks, whether manufactured by
Xerox or by a non-Xerox ink vendor, caused the ink sick jam, contact
support to place a service call.

You can either order the part yourself directly from Xerox if you feel you have the expertise to replace it... otherwise, here is a link to a reputable service company in your area that can provide the repair service you need.

How do I find the path to a network printer in
It sounds like whoever set up your network added an administrator code to access.
That driver is pretty much plug and play and sets itself up very easily.
That user name and pass word is not part of the driver setup.
Samsung ML-2510 won't print
try unpugging it from everything, and leave it unplugged for a couple of days. This sometimes reset's printers.

It for the same make as yours but not the same mod but gave it go maywork
Solution:
- Turn off the printer. Turn on the printer.
- As soon as you see XEROX start moving across the display hold down the back and help buttons until you see "beginning service mode" on the display.
- Release the buttons, it will now come up in the service mode.
- Scroll down to the function menu, hit ok, scroll to clear isc fault, hit ok. Hit the back button to get back to the first menu then exit diagnostics, hit ok when it asks if you want to restart in customer mode.
