VGA chip is probably broken or the solder is loose the only thing you can do if its a loose card try another one or heat the chip with a heatgun on 220 farenheit, not more and only the vga chip there are alot of video's on youtube its not a garanty, but i have fixed 55% of broken ones with this method, if that goos wrong you might break the motherbord because it can be multiple or just one condensator. If you heat a condensator it breaks or explodeds, also remove the battery of the bios they cant stand heat. Or buy another motherboard.

Update to the latest BIOS first and then download the upgrade information manual from the makers website to check. It is not so much heat you want to worry about rather than if it has a compatible chipset. Inserting an incompatible CPU can cause serious damage.

Hi... problem with our PCI check for bad drivers.... go to your setting control panel system then look for open directory showing a fail driver as to be re-install due to corrupt file inside your system configuration... click update or re-install drivers insert acer cd recovery inside cd-drive and follow instruction

Does any program "auto-start" on your computer, when a DVD disk is inserted?

If you open My Computer, and there is no icon for the CD/DVD drive, then your computer has a "hardware" problem. Take it to a qualified technician for trouble-shooting, and possibly for disassembly/replacement of the drive/reassembly.

You need to reinstall Windows again from scratch using the Recovery CD, if you have not got it you can purchase one from Acer.
Otherwise you nee a Windows installation CD with the product installation code and after you have installed Windows you need to install the device drivers for the devices that are installed on your Acer.
