If you lost the cd installer, go to www.google.com then type the printer driver and search. be sure your in HP website.

After you select your OS, it will give you a list a available downloads for the printer.

If you have internet access go to hp downloads from google. If not, connect your printer to your PC (computer) turn it on. If your OS is XP the found new hardware balloon should appear above the icon on the task bar, click the balloon and the add new hardware wizard comes to the screen, read and follow prompts, as it will give you a list of some recent and current hp printer products to choose from. If the balloon as mentioned above does not appear, click start, click control panel, double click add hardware icon, and the add hardware wizard comes on screen, choose your options and follow the prompts. NOTE; if the printer has been installed on your computer previously, and your OS has not been altered (formatted) this is an easy task for the wizard, as there is a shadow copy of the necessary drivers stored in the memory of your hard drive. You don't say what Windows you have - XP, Vista, etc.? When you know go online on Google and type in 'HP printer driver download', and look for the HP website which should appear. Enter your printer model, choose the right Windows system, and you should be home and dry.

if your printer constantly blinking it means something wrong inside your printer, do you changes the ink cartridge sometimes it couse trouble to your printer if one of the cartridges is deffictive, Can you check the power adapter of your printer check the three terminal with analog or digital multi tester. the center one is negative ither both side have a positive 16 volts and positive 32 volts if the reading is decrease replace the power adapter with new one, if still no happen your logic board of your printer have a problem in this time its better to buy the one printer
