Dear gentlemen,
Hope this helps you sort out the problem. Please check paper jammed pieces of paper remains from paper in to out paper path. Check if the paper is properly picked-up, else check rubber roller pick-up and the solinoid motors that control to fed on and off the tray to engage pick-up. Check paper path sensors if possible. If you can determine when is the paper Jam happens please advice. Other means you can also refer your manual and machine diagnostic menu which part of the operation the paper will jam.
Best regards,
Rosener Guyano

Hi. I don't have the manual for this thing and in order to change the ip through the printer's web console I need to log in. Do you happen to know what that default user and password is?
Thanks,
David Hopper
make a cold reset or NVRAM reset
To do a cold reset you power on the printer while
holding down the go button for about 5 seconds and then release the
button. If the button is held for more then 15 seconds it may do a
NVRAM reset

how to configure laserjet 2015 network printer
Hello,
Please perform the following:
Unplug the network Cable:
Cold reset
A cold reset changes most system parameters in NVRAM to the factory defaults. However, unlike NVRAM initialization, a cold reset does not reset the page count, the paper tray sizes, language, or formatter number.
A cold reset also resets all the HP Jetdirect settings as well as the printer settings.
Use the following procedure to perform a cold reset.
The printer's LEDs begin cycling. The cold-reset process runs until completion, and the printer returns to the ready state.
If both the Attention and the Ready LEDs turn on before you release the Go button, you must start the procedure again with step 1.
Network reset
A network reset changes all network system parameters in NVRAM to the factory defaults. During the network-reset process, all button presses are ignored.
Use the following procedure to perform a network reset.
Now plug in the network cable and then wait for 5 mins.
If the Attention and Ready lights illuminate before you release the Job Cancel button, start again at step 1.
Then print a configuration page and check the IP Address.

My Hp 2015 printer keep on displaying the "Paper Out Light Indicator"
and I have loaded the paper tray with much sheet (A4-size) BUT the
printer is refusing to print.I Even try to print a test page using the
"GO button" but it refused to print.
I tried several attempts by restarting the printer and after restarting , the same Out of paper indicator will remain ON.
Can someone help me out?
This can be an issue with one of the faulty sensor across the printer.
Please check if you are able to print from tray 1, e.g. a configuration page.
A config page can be printed by holding the Green Button and releasing it as soon as the Triangle light comes on. This would take approx 5 secs.
If the printer is able to print from tray 1, then it could be an issue with the tray 2 pickup sensor.
Check if the tray 2 pickup sensor ( a black plastic piece to the right of the tray 2 pickup roller) is moving freely (front and back), also check if tray 2 pickup roller is not able to rotate completely.
If the tray 2 sensor is not moving freely and of the pickup roller is rotating completely, then reseat the pickup roller.
Normal use with good media causes wear resulting in the need to periodically clean or replace the pickup roller. Additionally, the use of poor media might require more frequent replacement of the pickup roller. Replacing the pickup roller Complete the following to replace the pickup roller:
CAUTION: Failure to complete this procedure might damage the printer. Unplug the power cord from the printer, and allow the printer to cool.

2. Open the print cartridge door, and remove the print cartridge.
Figure 2: Removing the print cartridge
3. Remove the main input tray (Tray 2).

4. Open the front automatic two-sided path door (HP LaserJet 1320 series printer only).

5.Place the printer on the work surface with the front of the printer facing up.

6. Pull the white tabs outward, and rotate the tabs up.

7. Slide the right tab to the right, and leave the tab in this position throughout the procedure.

8. Slide the pickup roller assembly to the right, and remove the left end cap.

9. Remove the pickup roller.

10. Insert the left side of the new pickup roller into the left slot (1), and insert the right side (with notches in the shaft) into the right slot (2).
11. Rotate the shaft until the notches engage and the shaft clicks into place. 12.Place the end cap over the shaft on the left side, push the end cap to the right, and rotate the tab downward into position.

13.Push the right tab to the left, and rotate the tab downward into position. 14.Place the printer on the work surface with the top of the printer facing up. 15.Close the front automatic two-sided path door.

Cleaning the pickup roller
Perform the following to clean the pickup roller.
1.Remove the pickup roller as described in steps 1 through 9 of Replacing the pickup roller above.
2. Dab a lint-free cloth in water, and scrub the roller.

3. Using a dry, lint-free cloth, wipe the pickup roller to remove loosened dirt. Figure 16: Wiping the pickup roller
4. Allow the pickup roller to dry completely before you reinstall it in the printer (see steps 10 through 17 of Section with a task ).

I have two printers that do the exact same thing. The paper LED is solid. I have changed paper trays. changed the type of paper in the tray and it will not continue past that LED.
Hello,
It seems that none of the printer's sensor is faulty, in fact, the printer has a faulty firmware on the formatter.
Your printer may need replacement of the formatter board, however, please try the following before swapping the formatter.
HP LaserJet P2015 Printer Series - Paper Jam Light Solid
ISSUE:
The HP LaserJet P2015 may come up with Paper Jam Light solid and would show the same light pattern even if the printer is power cycled.
SOLUTION:
The Light pattern is as shown in the diagram below.
Perform the following tasks in the order listed.
1. Reset the printer using the Super NVRAM initialization. The procedure is
a. Turn off the printer
b. Press and hold the GO button
c. Turn on the printer and continue to hold the Go button for at least 50 seconds. During this process the Attention, Ready and Go light turns on. Then the Attention and Ready light turns off, leaving just the Go light illuminated.
d. Release the Go button. The Go, Attention and Ready lights turn on.
e. Press and hold the Go button. All lights turn off. During the next three seconds, the Go, Ready and Attention lights turn on in that order, one per second.
f. Release the Go button to perform the initialization. The control panel lights begin cycling from front to back. After the Super NVRAM initialization process is complete, the printer returns to the ready state.
2.Unplug the power cord when the printer is on and leave it unplugged for 10 Seconds.
3. Turn the printer back on.
If the above steps resolve the issue, then print a configuration page and check the firmware version and the formatter board no.,
If the firmware version is below: 20080312, then your printer needs to upgrade the firmware, however the firmware can be upgraded only onl those models whole formatter board's third number from left is 0, 1 or 2, eg: JK0xxxx
If the 3rd number from left of the formatter board no is anything other than 0, 1, 2, then firmware cannot be flashed.
Please let me know the next update.

I get a paper jam light that comes on and stays on.
I have checked pathways and all the regular spots for paper stuck inside and I cant find anything
Any ideas?
Your printer has a long history of problems with its formatters. Apparently you may be able to download updates, but they don't always work. You may have to replace it. More information here:

How do i find the IP Address on a HP Laserjet 2015N, i have tried pressing the go button for 5 seconds and this does not work
5 seconds may not be quite long enough.. please see extract below from HP web site for the P2015 series.
"On the printer, press and hold the green button for eight seconds, or until the LEDs above the button start to blink. The printer prints out the configuration pages. You will find the IP address on page 2."

I printed a bunch of labels and some pages all the ink rubs off. On later pages, only the labels at the bottom of the page does the ink rub off. The labels at the top of the page seem okay... or at least better than the bottom ones.
Then I tried printing a text page from Word and I got double the text, offset by a few inches and neither set of words was clear. Also, the ink does stay on the page either.
I just bought this printer a couple months ago!

Sounds like your fuser is getting ready to stop working. Your fuser creates the heat so the toner from the cartridge is baked onto the paper as it passes through, your toner is rubbing off, so you could try cleaning, but I'm sure it'll be a new fuser, or possibly a fuser roller. Your owners manual has all the information and step by step trouble shooting guide to let you know.

How do you reset to factory settings the network configuration?
Enter the ip address into your we browser annd reset in the options
Posted on Feb 04, 2009
the printer is in a network
Press and hol the green 'go' button until the lights flash, (about 4-5 seconds) and release the button,
Wait for the config pages to print out, and then check your network configuration, i.p address, Subnet mask and gateway.
If no network page prints out, you might have a dead Network Interface in the printer.
