Try looking for an option in the settings to restore the printer back to factory settings. Then uninstall the printer and the software/drivers. Re-install them. If that doesn't work then it may be a technical issue with the processing unit of the printer.

4F message indicates that the printhead is RIP, you will need to replace it to make it work again. Before you replace it, you may want to try this, see if it will remove the clean unable error message: Access the internal maintenance mode by pressing the Menu/Set button, then press * 2 8 6 4 within 2 seconds. This should put you in the maintenance mode menu. Enter 80, then scroll down with the arrow down (round) key. You'll find an entry listed as purge count. If number is over 6000, enter 2 7 8 3. This will reset the purge count value. Then the printer will restart, hopefully without the annoying cannot clean message.

Don't even try adjust or open the unit. Call the dealer or take it back to him or you will invalidate your warranty and that is not worth it. Let the dealer worry about it.

The error message "Print Unable 46" is an indication that the machines ink absorbers are almost full. The ink absorbers hold liquid and dried ink after it has been purged from the print head. These absorbers can control enough ink for the expected life of the machine.

There is a possibility that this message may have occurred in error. Upgrading the firmware of the Brother machine may resolve the issue. Follow the procedure below to determine if a firmware update is required:
-if the display screen is displaying an error message, press the STOP/EXIT key to change the LCD to the main screen.
-press the # and * key at the same time. The first 2 characters on the top row will determine the ROM version.

If the ROM version is OE or greater (example: OF, OG, OH, etc), the firmware does NOT need to be upgraded. If the ROM version is OA, OB, OC or OD, follow the procedure on this link to upgrade the firmware.

For some reason it's not printing with the magenta ink. If you were out of that color it would tell you, so either all the magenta nozzles are clogged, or the printhead has gone bad.
At the top of the control panel is a button labeled Ink Management (or just Ink). Press that and choose Cleaning. Some machines will allow you to clean only certain colors - you want Magenta. When it's done, print a test page - also in the Ink Management menu. If it's improved, do it again until all the dots print for each color. Inkjet machines clean their nozzles by blasting them out with ink. If you're low on ink you should have spare cartridges ready to swap.
If no magenta prints at all, but the other colors are fine, your printhead has failed. If the machine is less than a year old it's a warranty repair, see Brother's website for the closest service center. If it's just past warranty, call Brother's customer service line and beg for a Work Order to be sent to a service center to cover your machine. Note that they will insist that your ink cartridges be genuine Brother brand before doing free repairs for ink problems.
If it's out of warranty, a repair would probably cost more than a new DCP 130C. Good luck.
