I think I found the solution for those of you who are on roadrunner service. I researched online for several hours and came up with this solution - it works for me - receiving and sending all mail:
Go to Settings
disable wi-fi instead of the pie on the top you will see the blue E
Go to Settings - general - reset - click on
reset networks
Once your network is reset, click on
Settings - Mail - add account - plus in your name, address, and e-mail account name
[email protected]
Scroll to incoming mail server: type in
pop-server.nyc.rr.com
user name (that's the first part of your e-mail addresss before the @nyc.rr.com)
your password (the one you used setting up your account with roadrunner)
scroll down to outgoing mail server
host name:
cwmx.com:587
click on Advanced - make sure that
use ssl is off on both incoming and outgoing.
Your server port should show as 587
when all done, click on the top left arrow which should show your e-mail address
exit the mail system, the click on the icon from the main menu and it should work
Good luck!
