whre can i find driver for acer Orbicam for XP OS. I cannot use my cam on yahoo messenger.. coz. I can't fin the right driver foe it.. hope oun can help me..

As you have said to go to http://support.acer-euro.com/driver/notebook/as_5570.html to download the Orbicam driver for Win Xp OS, I have done it but it is not working with my labtop so, pls advise on what to do next.

i had to reinstall vista on my acer aspre 5570z notebook. everything is working fine except for the fact that i need a mass storage controller driver. i dont know where to find it at....
What specific name of the driver for Mass storage controller and its need it for Windows XP? thanks

should i just download all drivers for acer aspire 5720 xp and then reformate the laptop, install xp OS and then simple install the drivers one by one ?

I hello,
I format my lapto(Acer Aspire 5572ANWXMi) and re-install
the window XP SP2. Currently i still have the driver PCI Device missing.
I went through the Acer website for the download & support and i cant find those driver. Can anyone please help me out?

Chee, its sounds your audio driver is missing that might be listed in PCI section of device manager.
Download chipset (click here), and install it.
Then download audio driver (click here) and install.
The LAN driver also cause this problem, so for LAN driver click here.
You should also try the Video driver, this is here.
I think it will fix your problem.

Hello,
I hope someone here can help me. I've tried everything I can.
Here is the situation. My connection was fine when suddenly my comp shut off (this has happened before). When I turned it back on I had no connection. I ran network diagnostics and tried every suggested repair. Then I called AT&T tech support and we checked everything he could think of. The last thing he did was an "ipconfig" and he said my ip address starting in 169. was a defective code. (And Im not sure if he said either my adapter or driver was bad) But after running network diagnostics I notticed a message that says "There might be a problem with 1 or more network adapters on this computer. The tech said I may be able to download this.
Any insight on this matter would be verry helpful and greatly appreciated. Thank you.
i must tell u that if u have done all trouble shooting and ur Wireless conn is not func then my friend there is no fault in ur wireless adapter i think the main culprit is dsl hardware this Westell Versalink modem and the lan cable u said is not working in laptop and working on desktop there might be two things why it is not working
1. there are straight and crossed connections in Lan cable Connector may be the coupling is not matching ur Acer Lan port and u are having problems in connecting it.
2. Or ur Lan Adapter is not set properly it needs to be DHCP enabled and set to auto config IP address in the prperties as i said earlier.
for WLAN i am 100% sure if it is not connecting may be ur Modem WIFI module is not functionaing properly and giving u hard time it happens in Power Failure sometimes or surge in the line current.
u shud get it replaced if it was working ok in wireless lan b4 and now it stopped suddenly

MwlDAEMON.exe failed to start Sysenv.dll was notfound.

This a known issue on Acers, especially if your running Windows 7. You need to uninstall and reinstall the MYLOCKER application, or just remove it of your not going to be encrypting files.

How do I reset my Acer Aspire 5517 to the factory settings?
click start menu, click all programs, look for Acer and click on it. Then click Acer E recovery. in a few seconds a window will come up. click the restore option in the left hand menu. You can restore to factory condition or restore windows and save your data. its all pretty much there in front of u. hope it helps u

Acer laptop Aspire 5732Z touchpad not working...have been using mouse all along and touchpad was working now it isnt...did the fn f7 no help...checked the device manager all seems fine...tried to update drives-said have most up to date driver can you help?
I have the solution...
u see where the switch on button is ? next to it there are two buttons ...ones for stopping internet connection ...thats the one on the right. the one on the left is the one for locking the touchpad
if that button has a orange light blinking on it it means its locked ..
so just push the button and see if it works :) .
