raise the cover and see if u can see a switch of some kind puss it down and see if it will print or restart ur computer and see what happens

The Lexmark X3480 is compatible with Windows operating system only. You can download the driver from the Lexmark website using the link: Lexmark X3480 Drivers. To select the version of your operating system, click on change OS.


Then click on FILTER.

This could be a driver issue. Uninstall the Lexmark software by going to the Start menu -> All Programs -> Lexmark 3400 Series -> Tools -> Uninstall. Reboot pc when prompted.
Reinstall using the installation disk.
If problem continues, please contact Lexmark technical support for assistance. If you want, they can do a remote access to your computer and check its settings and do some diagnostics. I'm confident they can get it resolved for you.

there is a small white switch that falls off if you can find it it needs to e reattached to a small black micro switch which is located just right of the middle of the lid where you see a sloping white piece of plastic

you have to squeeze in the top of the support and drop it down into the plastic

when you open the lid there is a small white piece of plastic witch should be attached to a very small micro switch .this keeps coming off for some reason .you have to find it and reattach it to the switch that is just right of the middle of your printer .hope this helps
