How do i turn down volume
The volume control is on the bottom of the unit, next to the hold switch. It's the double-rocker switch, one end marked "-" and the other end marked "+". Press the "-" end to decrease the volume.If you need a manual, you may download one
here. The location of the controls is illustrated on page 7.
When I try to transfer
Theres a lock or hold switch on the side of the mp3 player, turn it to the opposite direction and try again.
How do you download on coby mp3
easy,, its like a flashdrive,, plug it into your computer and it will show up as a removable disk ,, like when u put in your flash drive.. simply copy and paste your music to it,, like you would a normal flash drive..
We do not know how many songs the player holds?
The number of songs will depend on the size of your MP3 player and it will also depend on how big the songs are.
Usually, the sizes of the songs starts at 3.4MB, 4.5MB, 5MB and higher. If you're going to load songs that has 5MB size, and the player is 512MB, it means that you could load up to 100 or 102 songs.
But if the songs are bigger than 5MB, then you could probably load for less than 100 songs.

It wont turn on no more what to do
Try and reset the player look for a small hole in the back or close to the USB plug. Small enough to stick the end of a paper clip into.
Question is concerning Coby MP822-4G my screen
We bought a Coby MP3 player from Odd Lots and it just keeps saying please wait and never does anything else. We are idiots and lost the recepit and no longer have the package.....Help!!!
I just bought a coby MP822 4g 2.8
WE BOUGHT ONE AT BIG LOTS FLINT.
FIRST IT WOULD NOT COME OFF OF USB SCREEN WHEN DISCONNECTED FROM COMPUTOR. NOW IT'S STUCK ON WELCOME SCREEN & THE COMPUTOR WILL NOT CONNECT TO IT. COULD NOT FIND SOLUTION ON WEB SITE.
WE WILL BE RETURNING UNIT TOMORROW MORNING. THESE UNITS ARE A PIECE OF JUNK FROM WHAT I FIND ON THE WEB.
IN ADDITION TO THIS MY WIFE STATES THERE IS NO REASON WE SHOULD HAVE TO GO ON THE INTERNET TO SEE IF A PRODUCT DOES OR DOES NOT WORK. IT SHOULD WORK.

TAKE IT BACK. IT'S A NIGHTMARE! Recently bought one and pc not recognizing it nor is it telling me that it is being charged. I lost the receipt for it now i'm out of money and stuck with a defective mp3 player.

When you have it plugged in there should be a pop up asking what you would like to do. If you see this screen click Open to view files. (If you don't see the little pop up box asking what to do go to My Computer and see if your device name is on one of the icons on that screen and double-click on it.) Leave the window open so that you can transfer songs. Go to My music in another window or go to Windows Media Player and find the songs that you want. Don't try to sync them because obviously it's not working. However, In windows media player you can right-click on one of the songs that you want and Scroll down to Open Containing Folder and left click . This will open the location in a new Window Now, make this window smaller and make sure you can see the window with your device. * If your device has a folder that says music, double-click on it first before following the next step.* the song from it's original folder to your devices' folder. There should be a pop-up that says Copying. Do this with the rest of your songs and you'll be partying in no time! ! !
